Isn't that spam for a first post? :|Originally posted by shreyash2005 View PostI fitted HID of Ralcon 6000K for Rs.8000 with labour work. They are the best on the roads and no BMW or Audi can beat these. They are a must buy if you are intrested in standing tall from the traffic with those HIDs. You would require two of those hence the steep price.
And moreover, we get HIDs for 2.2k each at hyd..that too bi-xenons. 2.5k each including labour. Agreed they're chinese.Sunny.

Hi!
Got an issue with my machine! It's not really a big deal, but still, I'm concerned a bit!
I got my machine washed. Afterwards, she was not responding correctly upto 3k rpm. Unless raised more, she was going down at 2k-3k rpm in 1st. When I tried changing keeping her at higher RPMs, she was doing fine. She was correctly doing 60 kmph-6th gear-4k rpm.
I called up the SS guy & he told me to wait for some time & then try again. Now, she is normal. I noticed that when she was wet, her idling was less than what is normally set. Now, she has dried, her idling has gone normal again. The SS guy says that, if I was hand-washing her, this issue should not occur.
Now, I'm going to Bombay tomorrow, & I'm worried, what if I encounter rain (It's raining in Pune right now). She has been in rain before without any trouble, but I'm just concerned about tomorrow.
Please help! Does anybody understand from my description, what the problem was? If yes, what is it & what could be a quick-fix?
Thanks!And God said, "Let there be light" and there was HID Kit. And God saw that the light was good;

do you feel as if there is no petrol in the bike? try giving the throttle slowly and gradually and check.I once had such a prob when my bike was drenched in the rain. its to do with the spark plug adapter.Originally posted by Adway View PostHi!

I dunno if anyone has read it before, but I had a crash while returning from a roadtrip.
What I want to ask is has anyone opened or seen the steering tee and assembly being opened before? Are there any parts that pop out or springs etc..?? Coz I'm thinking of opening the damn thing and setting it right myself.
Also you'll see the place where the front brake lever is bolted, there is a stud that presses on a rubber diaphragm, which in turn applies hydraulic pressure to the pistons. Now I've lost a part that is pressed by the stud. Anyone has a picture of the original assembly, up close? And any idea how much a new one will cost? (I think its a part of the master cylinder).You get the point?? :D

I have got all the front section opened and aligned 2 times and it was really hard to get it accurate. Thankfully its perfect now.Originally posted by svjhonda View PostI dunno if anyone has read it before, but I had a crash while returning from a roadtrip.

In case you feel that the forks are screwed up in anyways then do not touch it yourself, even mechs have a hard time adjusting that. Its a very sensitive area and takes a lot of accuracy and attention to get the factory settings.
Did not see any spring.

Yamaha has provided a revamped R15 with just the tyres of course!
Hi all, I recently went to a showroom here in Kathmandu, Nepal. What i found that i saw these red beast looking more blazing then before... What they have done is that they kept the rear tyre to the front and they have added a 100/90 (think so!) the one which is seen in pulsar 200 made of MRF at the back... Now the back portion is looking really cool... No accessories here yet! Also the pricing gonna hike soon out here due to the coming fiscal year budget .
