Actually the left RVM's black paint was chipping out since some time.. and now it's gone to a noticable extent..So I am thinking of getting both the RVMs painted locally.. But was thinking if the cost of new RVMs is close to the cost of repainting then why not go for the new ones.. That's why need the info...
Anybody listening..??????

Ketan i do recall inquiring about the rvm cost before puchasing the bikes. IIRC it's in the range of 350-450/-. But my memory is foggy at best about the whole episode. If you do get them painted, don't pay more than Rs.200 for both. I once paid Rs.100 for the left side.Quench my thirst with gasoline!Comment

Hey Guys,
I have a week old R15. It makes a beeping sound on occasion.
For a few minutes on initial riding. Any idea why ?
I've ridden it within the run-in conditions (<5k rpm)

About that 'beeping' sound, its just air getting sucked into the tank from the tank's petrol cap, the FI pump creates some pressure inside the tank and hence the air moves in. Especially happens when you move the bike after a few hours.Originally posted by rookiebiker View Post
