No man will be a marine engineer who has contrivance enough to get himself into a jail;for being in a ship is being in jail, with a chance of being drowned.A man in a jail has more room, better food and commonly better company.

It is how fast you reach the 151 mark that is the improvement.Acceleration has definately improved.
The Rev needle reaching 12000 was really moving fast..that was really nice to see.
It is about the improvement in pick up and delivering power onto the road..

          • My R15 was feeling rough on sunday while on the way back from our G2g on the Nice road. Was experiencing this for the first time & the vibes were evident especially at speeds of above 100. A few weeks back I had done another high speed run on the Salem - Hosur stretch and it was much smoother then. Its been 1600 kms since my previous service (overall 4500 kms) & I shifted to Castrol Power 1 Racing yesterday. Havent ridden it too much after changing the oil but it does feel smoother. Will log some kms tonight. Got the chain also tightened as it really needed it. Has anybody else experienced this mid service crisis for their bike ?

            • I have felt this issue after my 1500km trip from Chennai to Wayanad.. The was rattling by the time I reached back Chennai.. This issue is mostly due to the tappet clearance. Adjust the tappet and bike 'll be good again...

                • err, does the bike needs to be swiched on(like in cars) once the radiator fan starts?
'coz whenever it has happened i have almost reached my destination & about to switch off.

I don't think its required to be switched on again!
The engine will anyways cool down once you would have parked the bike after reaching the destination, isn't it?
                            What say ppl?

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.
