K&N pls don't. Iridium, ur choice to spend on it... I guess you are not gonna notice anything better with it. But it should at least give you less mis-fires at higher speeds & longer life.

No! The R15 doesn't have backlit switchgear.. That we would all love to have it, is another story..

yeah even i think like wise but thanx! still can i go for K&N just for that peculiar sound which is like scuffling burst of gas or something like that.

I saw similar bits here and there in R15 which are not upto the std of Yamaha.

please don't mind but i am dead against any after sales mods untill and unless the company approves...man i have a total trust on the Yamaha engineers and i think that when they have designed the machines they definitely have thought of this....
now its your call...if you think that NOISE is something you want ...GO AHEAD...and stop asking for this poll and other things...its your bike...YOUR DECISION IS ALL.

@gaurav congrats.. So you did go for sunset red....regarding the clipons all the r15 models have that kind of finishing even on mine too..so dont worry and check that horn and tell us all....Ride safe...

Congrats! She looks lovely. As for the clip-ons, Yamaha is known to have inconsistent paint quality.

I went into garage and saw it and you know what..initially i couldn't even find that thing which chauhan pointed out..later i spot it and i was like..this? It should be a big deal..rather..not even a deal..the rest of the bike was in front of me and the key in my hand..i was like..wtf..what was i thinking..this is my dream..so hopped up and rode smoothly on a long drive..

I have been following this thread since almost two months (I happen to come across xbhp and this thread while I was searching for some sensible and accurate info about R15) since I was thinking about changing my sweetheart (my CBZ) who has been supportive and forgiving for a long time.

After careful consideration of many Bikes in 150-250 class I am almost on the verge of picking up an R15 (the one thing still bit of holding me up is the probable launch of Ninja 250, but feels like the price of that baby is gonna be much more thn 1.5 lakhs which was the ceiling me myself had put on.)

Yesterday I went to the showroom (third time) to inquire on colors and all, The showroom guy told me that old colors are being stopped! i don't know if its true. I had set my mind on old red color (the blazing red). However he told me that if I can wait bit more than the usual waiting period he can get me the color (first I was doubtful about he saying the old colors being dropped but then I saw the new brochure in which only the new four colors were being displayed!) but I am again doubtful if its only a brochure which came with new color launch and not the general brochure. So now i am caught between choosing the yellow one and old blazing red. I personally like blazing red more but i am confused if the showroom guys give me blazing red would it be from an old batch and if at all the bike have any issue or scratches I might not have another one to choose from?

Could anyone confirm the colors which are currently in production....please guys help me out here
