You can buy OKS chain lube from a Bajaj probiking outlet if you want, not bad at all. The 1500rs one was japanese, extremely nice, and u dint have to use much, but the issue with the muddy, dusty conditions here, its not possible to use that on a regular basis.

I bought mine on the 27th of May 2010. Not seen the chassis number. Will run down and make a note of that laterOriginally posted by neoakshay View PostWow, the Motul 300V runs out so quick huh? Was actually planning to switch to that oil next.. Am currently on the Motul 5100. 2600km and the oil is still good.. I dont red-line as much as you tho.
Never had an issue with my bike upto now too, 17600km on ODO. Apart from the persistent vibes issues, i'm a real happy dude too!
I too changed my bike's sparkplug at 12000km, just like that. Just repleced it with a new Stock plug. Throttle response became a wee-bit crisper i think. I'm trying to get the Simota Filter from Joel, but i think he's been super-busy.
The screeching sound from the rear-brakes is somethin i'm used to now, its been happening right from 7000km on the ODO after i changed the brake pads.
Also, is yours a 38B1 bike or is it the 20P2? I might ride to Mysore to meet u this weekend, btw.
Cheers!
.
So, the screeching sound is a common trend amongst new disc pads? Thats odd. I guess they NEVER align them correctly and we are taking it for granted. We should complain. A bike of this quality and it sounds a like a F@*cking truck when braking
.
The NGK plugs have definitely improved my throttle response. Very crisp indeed. The old one was all black and I need to get it sandblasted and re-adjusted before re-using it. Hope the new one lasts a fair while
.
Of course dude, I think you already have my number, don't you? Whenever you are gonna be here, just drop me a message

I am waiting since 4-5 months for new version. There are different views regarding the new launch of R15(2011 version). But, I am sure, they gonna launch this bike sooner or later but definitely in this year(2011). If you have patience, I suggest you to wait for few months.

if your sound disapear when u drive above 4k rpm than change your sparkplug cap. it will cost u round about 50-55rs. this is the only way that i know by which you can solve your problemOriginally posted by Bean View Posti removed the sparkplug cap and cleaned it but i didn't noticed much difference in that tak-tak sound but i didn't clean the sparkplug plug, was it also necessary? but sir i noticed a very big thing i.e in a day in every ride if i don't let engine to go on low rpm with higher gear even with lower gear that sound keep on decreasing and i really don't let engine to run on low rpm with higher gear but the place in bangalore where i am staying is little hilly type area so engine always need 2nd or 1st gear to move up and if someone is sitting with me then only 1st gear works or else i need to accelerate hard.
its ok sir
nope my problem not yet solved but i think i know the exact reason why this tak-tak comes, only because of running the engine at low rpm with higher gear
as i mentioned above.
and guys i find this thread for rpm setting

Hey you guys are getting it all wrong. Even i have got my rear pads changed a week ago and i havent even heard any little sound from them even while accelerating or while braking. They are super smooth and silent just like a brand new bike. Dont know about you guys but mine brake operation takes a fair amount of hard braking and it it doesnt make any such sounds.Originally posted by ZeNashB View PostI bought mine on the 27th of May 2010. To make your bike run on 55W bulb without draining the battery, you will have to change the RR unit to that of a Ape RR along with coil rewinding getting done. After this modification, you can run your bike for hours without any battery drain. But this will void the warranty of your bike.Originally posted by adi.singh1992 View PostSo please suggest any way to make it 55watt....
