Maybe a hot air gun will help. Another alternative is a hair dryer!

I think it is. Not completely sure.
A friend's R15 Tachometer was faulty and his entire console didn't show any display after a week. His Bike had done xKms. He got it "repaired" and it's perfectly fine now, and the reading has continued from xKms.
You can still ask the SVC to be sure.

yes ! city riding for me is only 300km/per month while 1k kms on the highways/hills . The brakes look pretty neat to me still .

The pain will be there initially for quite sometime but then you'll get used to it.. Try grabbing the tank with your knees, helps a bit.

                      • ^^APE RR is not compatible with the R15 in its stock form. You have to rewind the coil to use APE RR unit.

drvmtm has done it. It supports 2 60/55W h/l easily now.

As I have replied in the other thread, do the diagnosis and let us know. The R15 charging system is robust enough to support 2 HIDs at above 3k rpm. You do not need to mod it.

                            • Guys, will there be a drop in mileage if using a freeflow exhaust? I'm going for a used KRP exhaust and a friend of mine told me his fazer with Daytona returns only 25 kmpl and 20 kmpl after ripping..

                              Mileage drop is 10kmpl, really?

                              • ^^^ this is a discussion that has taken place many a times across various threads... the fact is that a properly designed Free Flow Exhaust does not necessarily lead to a drastic drop in fuel efficiency... this has been proven by Joel and Raceconcept's Free Flow Exhaust... which not only increase the performance across the power band but also enhance the efficiency of the engine... ask those who are using the exhaust (or take the trouble of going through their threads) and you will find a universal answer... They are pleasantly surprised by the fuel economy given by Joel's Free Flow Exhaust... as for KRP and Daytona exhaust... less said the better...
