Check your rear wheel alignment (especially if a tyre wallah has done any work) also check the chain tension and is it correctly lubricated, this should be your first port of call and weekly inspected by yourself.

Spot on! you'll need to work on the adjustment so as not to blind anyone and the light is on the road, where it should be. By the way I have not done this mod as yet, but hope to do within the next two weeks.

not yet went to any (tyre wallah) , chain lubrication done last week from service centre, rear wheel alignment was checked in last service i.e 3rd service, but i don't think this sound is of chain or because of tyre alignment, because this tak-tak sound goes or can say it decreases after pressing the clutch, even in standing vehicle it comes.

That's a bixenon, this will give you both high and low beam.

ok so if i put a bi xenon in the left pod, at low beam only the left HID will glow. when i switch to high the left HID will shift to the high position and the right halogen will also glow.

But if i go for a single beam HID, at low the left hid will glow. But in high beam what happens? do the HID stay on or do they go off as there is no low position. If they stay on wont the throw of light be weird as one pod is is low position whereas the other is in high.

also what brands bi xenons are available?

                Correct.

Yep the low will stay on in low position, high beam will be pointless with the stock halogen in the right side, as prices have come down by a lot recently, best to go for a bixenon.

also what brands bi xenons are available?

Chinese brands of varying quality, some are great and some more dubious in quality, you can try JSP enterprises opposite Vishal mart, in Panaji, the fellows there are a little more knowledgeable than most, also try the accessory shops on Dr AB road, I've not had a look there though. If you want a reliable sorce you can contact Navnish through the forum, just search his name, this is the option I'm going for as he is a reliable source and many on the forum have been supplied through him, I'm still waiting for pricing from him, best is to send him a PM, he does this as a side business, as a hobbiest, if you take this route, you can either install DIY or go to a trusted mechanic.

As your bike is relatively new, i sugggest you take it back to the SVC and let them check it out, probably something minor needs an adjustment, do it asap.

Projector bixenon kits will cost you 6 grands a pair upwards, or a single will be around 3 grands, many people run without projectors, glare will depend on the shape of your projector, beam adjustment and the quality of the bulb. If you need further info, you should post on the http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/universa...d-etc-208.html thread, I have read through the thread twice now. Also sourcing projectors separately will be difficult (not impossible).

Thanks sir for the post and i think you right its because of low idle rpm only and i have noticed that in morning when the engine is cold the rpm automatically goes to 1.5k rpm but after engine gets fully heat up the rpm comes down to 1.1k - 1.2k and in 1.5k rpm the sound never came so now i need to increase the engine idle rpm right! so what you suggest what should be the idle rpm?
Last edited by Bean; 03-30-2011, 01:45 PM. Reason: current rpm is 1.5k on cold engine not 2k
