Guys ...Im having problems sourcing brake pads my R15 , especially the rear ones. The current one's are completely worn out (6500kms old) . It becomes difficult to get the bike to a still even from 50kmph , the rear wheel just locks if i get slightly hard on the brakes. When checked with the service center mechanic , he said the brakes pads are completely gone , and gone to an extent that they could even damage the disc
I'm checking with the service center from the past one month but they simply say the pads are not in stock .I've checked with every service center in Mumbai but still no go.
So guys ...is there any other place i could find the brake pads ?? Im seriously worried about the disc's

Guys from Bangalore, I need help, a bit urgently.
I found my braking to be a bit weird for the last few days, the front brake seemed to work somewhat like a slow acting ABS - it very mildly grabbed and released at the wheel periodically with braking input being constant. I thought the disk may be contaminated with oil etc. Checked today, the pads are completely gone - both the front as well as the rear. I am worried so much that I am planning to get new ones tomorrow.
Now please suggest me a SVC in Bangalore that will have front as well as rear brake pads in stock. I don't want to run around with these pads from SVC to SVC.Last edited by abhijeet080808; 03-27-2011, 03:38 PM.Your biking tells a lot about the person you are!

Tube in tubeless tyres
Recently faced a very bad problem with my bike rear tyre.
I observed that the rear tyre was losing air very fast. So i took it to a puncture shop and he told that there is no puncture and there is leakage from between the rims and the tyre.
He showed me by putting the wheel in water and it was true.
He also said that it cant be repaired. So i have to put tube in my tubeless tyre
.
But again there was a problem, since there was no tube available for r15's size (100/80 17) and so i had to fit a bigger 100/90 17 tube.
I wanna know, has this happened to any of u??
What might be the actual reason for all this??
Will there be any difference in handling?
How can i make my tyre tubeless again??

there is no confirmation about when the new model would come, so you can wait till the time it is declared or you can just go ahead and buy the current model.Originally posted by dushyant123 View PostHey guys i'll be booking my r15 this monday.
shall i wait for the new 2011 version a bit more?

been thinking of changing my bikes lamps for quite sometime now. kept postponing it.Now i desperately need them as i commute a lot at night.Dont have the bucks to go for projectors. i have two alternatives.
1.go for a H4 60/55W bulb in the left pod. from what i know, on low beam the bulb will consume 60W+10W (10W of the pilot lamp). on high beam it will consume 10W+55W+35W=100W (35W of my right pod bulb) .so my question is whether the battery will support this setup.
If this is the setup i should go for, which one is better Osram night breaker OSRAM|Consumer|Automotive Lighting|Products|Headlights|NIGHT BREAKER|NIGHT BREAKER Family|index or philips blue vision Philips Lighting India - BlueVision .
2. alternatively go for some replacement bulb of stock configuration. is any one of this better than the stock lamps Philips Lighting India - Premium .
Guys please help me. Thanks in advance
