    I bought my bike on 10/5/2010..I am not whether I m eligible for the fairing change because the svc guys didnt have the list so far for the bikes that are eligible....I wrote to Yamaha and they said that my bike is not eligilble...But, I dont have the new fairings that comes with mesh at the bottom as in new bikes that I saw in showroom...

    I also wanted to know whether there is any time limit in which we have to get the parts change and will they change it if the old fairings are damaged??

      I think that the drain hole near your lid is clogged else the water does not stop there....get it cleaned by high pressure air jet...

        All fibre stuffs replaced except the headlight mask + visor and the rear end side panels(Left and Right) also the small piece near the grab rail
        Estimated cost of the change if paid is around 5k.
        U get it FOC

          So they are changing the side panels and the rear ones as well? Few are saying, rear and side panels while the others are saying only side and under radiator ones.

            guys .. is Yamaha changing fairings again now ??

            last time i was not eligible for the fairing upgrade .. and if this is a new thing am i eligible ?

            i got my bike on the 29th October 2010 ..

            (i hardly get time to read here as i am busy with work, sorry)

                I sold it, but a close friend bought it who stays in Dubai and so I get to keep the bike and maintain it

                  Which rear panel are you talking about? I don't understand. I thought it was mainly the front outer, inner fairing&the part below the radiator.
                  That makes it 5 pieces. Which are the other 2?

                    No pics..

                    Left + right shields = 4 pieces (2 on each side, 1black and 1 gray)
                    bottom centre cowl =1 piece -gray color
                    bottom side cowls =2 pieces (left and right) where the yamaha is written in Gold.

                      A quick check on the fairings. Mine is the initial manufactured lot. Say around OCT 2008. Have crashed the bike a couple of time and changed all the front panels incuding the HL assy. Now, i need to know whether i qualify for a panel change...

                      Also i think i am eligible for radiator change, but then i think i can do it later since i have removed the Horn from the mounting in the radiator which is the sole reason for radiator cracks when bike tips in the left side.

                      Now any one with HID/Projector Kit. Approximate cost ?

                          any particular reason for this change ?

                          Edit:just spoke to my dealer.like the radiator change those guys with a names on the list provided by yamaha will only get it

                              And you are right, i tried searching reg HID and projectors in the thread, but heck, half a day of work time is gone . My friend had installed a chinese HID kit for 3.2 k for both the low and hight beam set up including installation. He is so noob that he even doesnt know what is the wattage of the HID. Hope he doesnt come across this thread.

                                Advise Me

                                Hii guys, this is my first post after a long time in Xbhp. I need some help

                                My R15 is 2009 make (blazing red) purchased in April 2009 and chassis no. ME120P01xxxx.. I read in the posts about the fairing replacement being done. My fairings are already in very poor condition with so many scratches. Can i get them replaced ? Also some time back, i was denied the FOC radiator replacement due to the change of dealership in my area. I purchased my bike at one dealer and after a year, a new dealership has been started. When i asked them regarding this, they said that I have to go to my old dealer to get it replaced(which doesnt exist anymore). Can i complain to Yamaha regarding this ?

                                Please advise me. Thank You
