Can you please elaborate it?? How much does it cost? I too want to do the same.

But, I am sure, they gonna launch this bike sooner or later but definitely in this year(2011). If you have patience, I suggest you to wait for few months.
Yeah. But now i think it might not come in the near future, as i just saw the showroom near my house get fresh stock of the r15, which they wouldnt do if the facelift was coming soon enough.

I must say something on this.
Even, the showrooms around here have new R15s. But, this happens till production continues. Better, we should find out, whether the production is stopping or not? Beside, there is huge probability that the launch has been delayed due to the fiscal year. After the budget release, I guess, Yamaha definitely accelerate its production of new bikes. After all, there is not any official news/release/updates regarding new release by Yamaha Motors(India). Till then we can do only one thing, " W A I T " . And, I am doing same.

              • Just washed and waxed my bike, after I cleaned and lubed the chain, with Motul chain cleaner and Yamalube off road lubricant (not sure if this is the best to use, the chain looks like it's direct from the factory I forgot to click pictures of the chain before and after. I used someoes tooth brush lying in my house, hope they don't come back and expect to use it.

Here's a pic after the wash and wax, will put 2 more coats of wax in the next 2 weeks, this gives each layer enough time to harden, then it won't be required for another 6-8 months.

No idea, it was on the bike when I bought it second hand, I think it's the Yamaha optional accessory? It's very useful and so far I have had no issues with it scraping the ground.

I use abel auto wax (liquid) first then I use Autoglym extra gloss protection (I had bought this in UK 8 years back, still on the same bottle) The wax/polymers need a little time to harden, atleast overnight before you can put more layers, this is the best way to get a very long lasting deep wet look shine. It's worth the effort, especially on a bike as it takes very little time, your wax will last for years and a fantastic shine for many months, also makes washing easier.

                            • Any Ideas?

If newer version of R15 is launched in India, how many days will it take to arrive in Kathmandu, Nepal?

                              Anybody aware about this?
