and then WHAM......something had hit my front cowl @132km/hr and i heard some kind of a plastic cracking......leaned over and checked the headlight but there was nothing wrong with it........after driving a good 600~700 metres i thought of pulling over and checking my bike again....so i stopped by the side of the road and as soon as i put my bike on the side stand, the crow fell near the front wheel....man I was like....
the crow was stuck near the radiator area and there was blood marks in the inner side of the cowl.....then i checked the entire inner side of the fairing for any cracks but luckily there were none....finally checked all the electrical operations(horn, headlight etc..) in the bike, cursed the crow for not wearing a helmet and then proceeded to college @ 40~50 km/hr...yeah i am with you mate, that crow's license should also be canceled, flying on the road is just stupid...Originally posted by velociraptor13 View Post

Yamalube powdery white dry type lube needed
@Hyd, Bangy&Pune owners: Please let me know wherever you can find the Yamalube powdery white dry type lube. I got it for Rs.1400 last time, it has served me very well&I intend to go for it again. Just exhausted the bottle on Friday evening.Quench my thirst with gasoline!

The parking light bulb flicker is not just due to the battery load only. There is an issue with the switchgear ( minor though ). I checked it on 2-3 bikes. when you switch on parking, and then you move the lever further to the left to switch on the headlight, sometimes the parking bulb on the right of the fairing ( when you are sitting on it, left if you are looking at the bike from the front), will flicker, or even go off, and then come back on after sometime.
check if that is the issue. Move the lever slowly to check if it happens.

and you rule! :POriginally posted by svjhonda View Post@TNT- Awesome avatar...! You rock!!
@ Samarr- You can get the new R15 horn and fix it on your bike. Try out its horn on any of the new bikes at the showroom, and see if its satisfactory...
@all: I had a problem with vibrations creeping in around 6k rpm, digislayer suggested that I tighten the engine manifold nuts, and it has solved the problem. Thanks dude. The link to the photos showing which nuts are to be tightened has been added to the 1st post of this thread, if anyone needs it.

^^ interesting... my engine started sounding gruffy.. even though i just got the oil changed about 70 kms back( yes 70) and got the fairing replaced ( new visor and meter cover, mounted correctly on new plastic screws on the rubber mounts.
Also the SVC engineer told me, they have come across some bikes with loose engine mounting bolts, so be sure to check.

This is one weird&funny thing...again the bike started sounding like a Pulsar (whoom-whoom kind of noise in idling) after my weekend ride&within a day its back to normal, smooth as ever, no extra noise. I don't care about it now.Quench my thirst with gasoline!
