My friend had a similar problem. The fuse were all fine, the problem was with the wire that comes from the key location. It was a bit loose, opened it and it fixed it, no peroblem ever since then.Originally posted by sveetvenom View PostHalo guys,..a couple of my pals took my bike for the weekend,..unfortunately,and this is happening for the first time, the bike suddenly just switched off,...complete electricals died out,..could it be just the fuse ?,..or anything else,..has any1 else faced this problem?,..let me know!!

Open the top fairing right side(direction is as per you are sitting on the bike) the one you will open to replace the headlight bulb. You can see wires coming below the keyhole, follow them till the time they are getting connecting with the main wiring sysem, now my friend had a problem here, there was some loose connecion where these sockets were, we opened and attached them and the problem was solved.Originally posted by sveetvenom View Posthi Amit,..maybe that would be it,..can you please be a little more descriptive,..where the connection in the wire might have gotten loose,..exactly where is this wire??

Rear Alloy swap with FZ16. Query.
Bike Experts! Got a query.
Background |: The alloys of my R15 seem to be feeble enough for a ride through the rough potholes of our roads. Read through certain blogs to know that there have been various instances of alloys bent due to similar unpleasant incidents.
Query |: Is it possible to swap the rear alloy with that of FZ 16 and the rear alloy to the front one, keeping the tyres stock and not fiddling much with the swingarm?
I understand the FZ16 alloy doesnot have rear disc as stock, however, there are various places in Karol Bagh where they install the disc fitmet into FZ's alloy.
FZ's rear alloy is around 4 inches wide versus R15's which is around 2.5 inches wide. Its such to provide a rounded shape to the rear tyre of R15 to support its amazing cornering capabilities. Understandable. However, I just need to know it FMI.
Has anyone in this forum tried anything of this sort? If yes, what is the outcome? If no, what are the possible issues in that?
Responses and views requested.

Hi, Could you please post some images of your bike in daylight? And some close-ups of the swing arm. Has there been any alteration done to the swingarm anyways? And how does the bike ride now? Any changes experienced till now?
Please throw some light on your experience.

Yea, long french kiss more like...Originally posted by Amrit View Posthii there,
At the svc, the main head told me to invest for the center stand.
So is it necessary to have it? it costs around 700 bucks approx.
DOes anyone of u have it?
Wont it kiss the tarmac when the bike would bend?
Not worth getting a stand for full time that too for 700 bucks.
Go to your neighbourhood mechanic, ask for RX100 center stand and stand pin, will cost you around 200 bucks for both. This can be used whenever you need to do some work on the bike, and its a clean fit. Small enough to be carried anywhere you need.

Horn...
Guys...
Got my bike serviced yesterday....I'm pretty happy with the work the svc guys have done... I have been facing this horn problem for quite some time... Its like the sound flickers and the switchgear need to be pressed really hard...Its really irritating while riding in traffic... When I asked the svc guys they told me that the horn is partly working so they cannot replace it on warranty...If thats so...can you ppl suggest me a horn that sounds better and is of the same rating as that of the present one.
