It stays in F for 5kms after filling petrol also
F = reserve. Reserve capacity = 1.9 litres. Since its approximate, multiply mileage and 1.9 you'll get the kms it will run in F -
F-60kms is safe in city.

F goes after 5 kms after u fill fuel.> than reserve
If u dont fill fuel then its 50-70 kms in reserve.

i am planning for a 600km trip soon on my 15.i hate taking breaks in between. i like to ride nonstop till i get to the place(295km). will it cause a problem? some where i read that (non stop)long rides will eat away the clutch plates -is it true?should i replace my present clutch cable with a new one( before the trip)and keep the old one as spare?the reason i am asking this is because last month i took a 225 km trip and i rode nonstop for 112 km to reach the place. now i hear a small thud sound while i shift gears, especially from 1st to 2nd.i am also in the habit of using the clutch a bit more than necesary.superbikes are the biggest blunders on indian roads.

why? any specific reason?Originally posted by akhilmuraleedhar View Post.i am also in the habit of using the clutch a bit more than necesary.
if you have to learn clucthless upshifting, this is the motorcycle, you don't have to close the throttle fully too,
the clucth on the R15(in my case) is supposed to be used while going down the gearbox ie downshifting,

Rear tyre pressure
Guys,
I have a 3-month old R15 and I find that the
rear type doesn't retain air-pressure for more than
2-3 days. The service guys checked for flat-tyre
and said I needed to Nitrogen air as normal air wasn't
enuf.
Is that true?
Where all do I get this N-air filling bunks? (I live in south
bangalore)
