i think you should go and talk to that guy and get your tyre replaced asap. the front tyre should ever be used as the rear and vice versa.even if they are of same size and profile they are not interchangable. so bro, get it fixed and get a replacement from the dealer.

Most people in tyre shops don't know about the difference. You HAVE to ask for Zapper S.
I was offered the FZ's front for my R1 at many shops. I reject it saying it is not the tyre I need. When someone insists it is the same and I should take it, I just say "aap ko malum nahin hai to pata kar lena... par yeh tyre aur R15 tyre mein bahot farakh hai."
BTW, looks like R15's tyres are not available in the market. If that is the case you are better off running with FZ's front than may be anything else made in India.Comment

It's official!! I hit 150kmph on my stock R15 today...wow it has been a long wait and I guess that makes it that much sweeter. Not bad for a 150cc machine ehh?
The stretch right after the new Katraj tunnel coming towards Pune now has the R15's name written all over it

I suggest every r15 riders to have a g2g at their respective states Yamaha regional office,maybe do a gherao
.I think seeing all helmet and jacket clad aliens together would give the reg manager a massive heart attack.

Is MRF manufacturing only for factory bikes or yamaha purchased tires in a big lot?
Situation is messy as there not many decent alternatives for R15 tires...

Yesterday KP anna checked my brake pads and told me I'm in for a change by 7000 kms on odo. I think this is too early. I do use engine braking quite a lot just so I could avoid wearing the pads out, but still...
Also, the grooves on my front disc are quite pronounced, I cleaned the brake pads and disc with water spray soon as Sarvajit suggested. Has this formation of grooves happened with you guys too? What could be the culprit.. sand particles trapped in the pad or something?

Is your R15, blue in color. I saw one r15 (between 4-5 pm, stretch between Shirval & Khed Shivapur ).
