Cant even ride it to the nearest Service center..so will be fixing it at home.
Sad to hear about the fall. There is good&bad news. Good news is it is only Rs.65.
Bad news is the slider underneath is around Rs.265 or so&doesn't come alongwith the footrest. Hope you picked that up?

left handbar is lower or its forward than the right. If its lower, its the handbar, its forward or rearset, then its the fork.

I guess it comes as a set i.e., footpeg assembly.

yeah ..i was amazed to see that too..the gear lever is slighlty bent. and this frame had a good crack on it...i thought it wouldn't budge..but it couldn't handle even one gear shift...and broke

                  • i did my first trip with motul 15w50 synth. upto 7k rpm the bike is butter smooth. way better than yamalube.after that the bike shows some vibrations though the power delivery fells better than yamlube. one question-why is yamaha using 15w50 yamlube whan the manual says 20w40.?does any other motul users face similar experiences? after i complete 2k kms on this oil i am planning to shift to 10w40 motul synthetic.

AFAIK, the footpeg only costs 65. The bracket costs 250 and it includes the brake or gear lever for RH & LH respectively.

Now I don't know whether the shifter arm/shaft which connects the gear lever to the gear shaft is included or not.

check my post in previous page....yamaha does not use 15w50 yamalube for R15 (or am i mistaken....i think you are talking about synt. oils...my apologies then)it does use 20w40. Anyways i have attached the image here for you (thats 20w40 ...mineral though). I got these stuffs to service my bike coming saturday.

                          • Hey all,
completed my solo 300km ride recently. I had a wonderful experience and lots of good memories and some little bad ones too... First of all I bettered my speeding milestones to 127kph... got mileage of around 45kmpl while going on the ride. Its lovely to cruise constantly at around 100 with good confidence on R15. However, i had the usual wrist pains in those long runs. While returning back i got the mileage of 54kmpl (70% Highways) Got the same wrist pain again. Got hard time to take it to the max rpm got some unwanted vibrations underneath the tank.. once past 7Krpm. Is this normal?

Also, may be due to my bike accident a month back, I no longer had the confidence around the corner (may be my psychology) coz i had an accident while cornering
