Replied in the FZ thread as well. Stock indicators are about Rs.200 each I think&the LED accessory set of 4 is Rs.2800.Originally posted by Sydney C View PostAny idea how much is the indicator all 4 for the R15..
Around Rs.575 for the matt colored one (old black&red), body colored ones might cost more.Originally posted by agnivo007 View PostHow much does the side fairing (each) cost? Any idea?Quench my thirst with gasoline!

I have them on my bike. 18 LEDs in each indicator are clearly visible at night, even from a long distance. It helps on touring, since I stop on the side&switch on the indicator&others in my group can clearly recognize!Originally posted by sheelpriye View Posthas anyone fit the LED's?
does the illumination improve by much?
Very few people went for the performance kit, so parts are available against order. Are the Yamaha HID's available off the shelf?
I think the HID comes alongwith the entire kit, please check if its available separately too.Quench my thirst with gasoline!

This is one pic that I had with me. It looks much better at night time. There is an accessories brochure available at the showroom-ask for it the next time you go there.Originally posted by sheelpriye View PostA photo or two would be appreciated

Yes, Fazer is for commuting(two-up/bad roads)You have a Fazer as well as R15? So you use the Fazer for commuting&R15 for touring?
R15 for riding
OT--can't ride big motorcycles with the current infra structure of my place though 250R is pretty tempting, lets see(ideally would like to wait for a 400-600)

1) Wrist pain is also an idicator of an incorrect body position...Originally posted by freakzil View PostHey all,
completed my solo 300km ride recently. I had a wonderful experience and lots of good memories and some little bad ones too... First of all I bettered my speeding milestones to 127kph... got mileage of around 45kmpl while going on the ride. Its lovely to cruise constantly at around 100 with good confidence on R15. However, i had the usual wrist pains in those long runs. While returning back i got the mileage of 54kmpl (70% Highways) Got the same wrist pain again. Got hard time to take it to the max rpm got some unwanted vibrations underneath the tank.. once past 7Krpm. Is this normal?
Also, may be due to my bike accident a month back, I no longer had the confidence around the corner (may be my psychology) coz i had an accident while cornering
2) Vibes are not cool... check if the tank has a lot of play and if the tank clip is secured tight enough (my threads went out here)
OT: Your wait is about to end, and I guess you had a farily good idea why and how before posting this hereOriginally posted by sheelpriye View PostI lost the brochure though isn't the details of it are up in the Yamaha India site i presume

Regarding the race kits...... chain and sprocket parts...
Daytona gold chain costs 2400/- apprx that’s just 300/- extra than the normal D.I.D chain which will cost you 2110.07/- (Thailand made). Front sprocket is close to 479/- bucks that’s 170/- rupees extra than the normal front sprocket which is close to 310/- rupees (Indonesian made) the biggest difference comes into play when you have to pick the rear sprocket it costs close to 2200/- buck wherein the normal one is just 370/- bucks that’s a huge difference here. BUT again the quality comes into play however i beleive this is not required for normal touring and commuting.
I was thinking of buying all this but the cost of rear sprocket made me drop the plan and they are not selling these three parts separately, you need to buy all three parts together.Last edited by Reuterian; 03-09-2010, 12:45 PM.

Clutch Cable
Dang clutch cable snapped today morning, on a flyover at 9 in the morning
, luckly i was only about 1.5 Km away from the showroom.
ODO reading - 6456 Km and i get an average of 40 Km per litre normally in the city.
Clutch cable - Rs. 88.43
Labour Charge - Rs. 50
Perfect riders, bangalore.
I was really cheesed off, almost everyone screaming at me as i was reversing the wrong side on the flyover...
But a really sweet girl in a santro made my day, conversation given below:
Girl: Honks really loud and stops behind the bike (its a slope...)
Me: Sorry, the clutch cable is cut.
The Girl: So what ? learn how to ride (she drives off..)
Belated women's day mam, if you ever read this.Last edited by Shreyas82; 03-09-2010, 01:22 PM.
