Sorry for posting my query again as it didn't get answered earlier. I wish to put a fatter tyre on my R15. Can a FZ tyre and swingarm be fitted into a R15? If not, what is the maximum size tyre that can be fitted into it without any mods? Please help.

After the policy expired i got it done by ICICI. Finally now i have ICICI lumbard insurance. I got the original policy paper by post.
same here never got the original copy (except the cover note) of the insurance from Oriental after that Jhol jhamata of bike replace (back on 2008).
After the insurance expired last year on aug 2009, i got it done via Bajaj Allianz and paid some 1950 bucks there, i have the original paper this time.... but instead of have R15 written on it they have entered it as FZ16, even after number of followups the paper is still pending from their side.
BTW...I hope you remember that we need to replace some 9-10 spares tomorrow and get the bike locally serviced

attached are the list of spares for replacementLast edited by Reuterian; 03-12-2010, 01:22 PM.

Guys one query.
How has the migration from yamalube to SS and then to FS been on R15?
How has the behaviour of the bike changed?
And pros and cons realized and issues faced? My thoughts...

hey guys,
Need your help here. The battery of my 2 year old R15 doesn't charge anymore. I just replaced the battery with a new one to realise that the problem still exists and the battery wasn't the root of the problem. So do you have any suggestions to help me find the problem and fix it rather than going on a random part changing spree? Also if parts like the regulator do need to be replaced, can someone help me with the costs involved?
Many Thanks,

i had previosly mentioned about over heating problems if you guys remember. i changed my motul synthetic and refilled the yamalube. now the problem is temporarily solved. also i did that air box thing. the sound now is amazing . the performance at high rpm has definitely improved. i now run a co of +4. i recommend this setup for every one to try out. it is really good.superbikes are the biggest blunders on indian roads.

^^ whats your mileage and top speed like on C0 +4.
Btw im just headed to a friends place who has dipped the chain in diesel overnight.. and apparently to remove the chain, you have to remove the rear swingarm as well... and the mono shock linkage at the bottom has a bearing instead of a normal rubber bush etc...
