hey
HEYY xBHPians... Wanted to ask that can I fit the rear fender of the RTR180 or ninja on my r15?
Also, my bike has clocked 3900 kms...what engine oil is preferred semi synthetic or fully synthetic? and brand and cost?
Also, is the IRC 130 section on the ninja good or the p220 dts-i soft compound tyre good for my r15's rear, the tyre should be light so that the performance does not detoriate and a direct fit....
Any more modifications for the performance?
I heard about two brothers exhaust for r15...anybody tried or any info on that?
Please, answer my queries.
Thanks.
Sahaj,

Sahaj,

stick to semi synthetic for the next 4k and shift to motul synthetic if you are into touring. else continue with yamalube semi-synth.
don't change the rear tyre.
don't buy any TBR exhaust .it is sheer waste of money. use the 20k you may use for buying the exhaust for buying some good riding gear.the performance figures of tbr exhaust may be available in bike india archives. don't waste money for marginal gains.superbikes are the biggest blunders on indian roads.

I think the P220 DTS-i's is not a soft compound tyre. It is a bigger and heavier tyre. It can be fit directly without any modifications but the performance, handling, etc. will decrease. The Ninja's IRC tire is a soft compound tyre but i have no idea as to whether it will fit directly or not. As far as possible, please stick to stock tyres. And regarding the exhaust, u can try some free flow exhaust's available in the market. For more info, u can ask Joel sir about the exhausts.Originally posted by sahajsharma View PostHEYY xBHPians... AFAIK, R15 tyres are the best indian made tyres for a bike. And its has the softest compound of the lot too.Originally posted by sahajsharma View PostHEYY xBHPians... Wanted to ask that can I fit the rear fender of the RTR180 or ninja on my r15?

Sahaj,

With a bigger tyre, you always loose performace. No matter what light they are....

Nope, my bro seems to have taken real good care of it in my absence!! A few potholes taken at high speeds are enough. Its slightly bent towards the left which makes the handlebar feel awkward. Am not able to sit properly and having back pain due to that.Originally posted by navnish View Postyou crashed ???? what happened to the forks???
May I know why? If its bent, the only option is to replace it I guess!!Originally posted by GP_freak View PostDont even think about buying new tubes...Its just plain waste of money
