    • Has anyone used Cramsters / any other company's saddle bages on their R15 ? Feedback ? Can you post pictures of the same ?

Am currently using the Cramster tank bag which I find to be extremely useful but for longer trips I would need saddlebags.

Saddle bags will fit. No probs... Be wary of the tail section. Since its sharp, its prone to loose the paint due to the rubbing. And be prepared to give up some handling.

I think you can use a scrubber with sampoo on the alloy..andother option that comes to my mind is using a cloth dipped in kerosene..but im not sure it would work or not.

I did some general enquiry of R15 and was shocked to know that the sales guys had no idea about the grade of engine oil, coolant and chain lube used(though I knew the specs, I was testing them).
One guy asked the manager and confirmed "Sir, chain lube is dry type and it will cost you 400/- and I was like ".
They asked me to sit on a Bike and feel it. I did and was very excited. though found the pegs very rear set, I guess it will grow on me(once I get the Bike, that is)...
I forgot everything else and just sat there with a heart beating at high rpms
Left the Showroom after asking his(salesman) name and thanking the him.
You reminded me of my days, when I fantasized about the bike. At one point it was an impossible thought for me.

*do i was in a hurry to get the top speed r..do i need to complete the 2nd service and then go for it..??
No, you not in a hurry at all. 1600kms is enough. Tuck into the fairing properly, redline 3rd onwards, make sure the tire pressures are correct, and airfilter is clean.

Use kerosene to clean it off, then use shampoo to make the alloys glossy clean again.
                  You get the point?? :D

Clean Air filter, Check Tyre Pressure, Shed some Weight! Sit a a few CMs behind and crouch as much as you can see the road from the visor!

Most of us have the same problem. Now I don't attempt to clean it myself-I wait till it goes for washing!
I guess they also use kerosene though.

The scrubber would scrub the paint out! As it is the paint from the alloys flakes very easily due to stones etc.

As mentioned by others, topspeed depends on a variety of factors-tailwind, airfilter being clean, tyre pressure, road incline, chain slack, proper gear shifts etc. I've seen my bike struggling to go beyond 126kmph on one occasion&doing 144kmph also on another fine day so chill!

The R15 is a weight sensitive bike.. how much do you weight, anything above 70 then dont expect a reply from me
I weight much more than 70 and I can still hit 135 on the speedo...!
