    • Guys is it possible to use a Motul 300v 5W40 FS for FZ(i know its not the FZ thread)... if its possible how many KMs does the bike run before oil change? As i have completed 20K+ on my bike, i need to know whether the oil change duration can be atleast 5-6K?

I was told that the preceding Viscosity Index (5 in this case) is fine, but I have to take care that the succeeding VI is 40. (as the manual specifies 20W40). Is it ok if I go for this oil?
No issues. I'm using 15w50, its dont 2700kms, running great, and although its thicker, no lag in acceleration.

Have any of you faced this problem. Please help, what else might be wrong? Tire pressures are optimum. No punctures in front tire yet. Rear tire is aligned properly. Forks seem to be straight. Cone set is fine.
Look, on roads with changing gradients like if there is a deep cut in the tarmac, the tire will feel like its weaving, because the tire grips different elevations of the cut while spinning. If it feels rock steady on smooth roads, nothing's wrong. If it still feels wobbly, I'm sure its the steering bracket. Its loose. Because I don't think fork oil depletes so rapidly.

I presume its the clutch bell noise/vibes. Its normal. Still, get it checked.

DOT4! Stock master cylinder comes with DOT4! Don't mix fluids! Hope you see this before going!

another query is tht the right iridium spark plug to be used in R15 is CR8EIX as the ngk website says.plz comment on this part too.
        thanks and regards
I dont think spitfire cables will give you any noticeable gains. Plus some people had tried it, and if I'm not wrong, they found problems attaching the cables. Use the iridium plug.

What is the rating for the FZ? if its xxw40, you can use it. No issues. Drain period should be 5-6k kms!
        You get the point?? :D

Bro, thanks for the info, but using iridium sprak plug along with the stock cable will affect the elctrode life for sure cuz the stock cable gives more resistance.plz comment on this aspect too.

I really don't have any idea about the resistance the stock cable puts on the iridium plug. But I'm sure many members have gone for iridium plugs with the stock cables and have felt crisper throttle response...
