I have seen Bangalore wheels service center and they have a decent setup altogether... they seemed bit more knowledgeable about the technicals..

Told me a 20 days waiting period for Blue R15

    Saj.
I got my bike from Perfect riders in Nov 09 and i'm happy with the service that i get (2 up till date).
You'll probably run away from there if you see the approach road (if it can be called that) to the SVC . Its runs parallel to a big gutter on that road and the svc is bang in front of it, really dirty outside.
However, there's a knowledgeable mech in there who does a good job on my bike, my opinion, good service comes with good people management, treat them right and they'll treat your bike right.

Beware of the sales guys in the showroom though, mighty slick bunch who love selling extras like the electronic alarm and things.., cant blame them for that though...

Guys , i had dropped of the bike for service yest , and what i found wen i went to collect it was , it was kept outside the SVC with the KEY in the ignition and no one around , careless SVC , now what i'm also worried about is that whether they used it for test rides , i didn't find any problem with it , but damn it man, leaving the key in was careless , are they responsible if it's stolen or somethin ???
      Thanks bro!!

Yeah, even i have seen this happening. few showrooms here in blore do not maintain a TD bike and use the bikes for servicing/new bikes(after allotment) as bikes for TD.

what is the problem with you .you are nailing the bike already. if you use r15 roughly you will never be free of problems. you run in the bike properly and treat it with some respect if you need some good days ahead.7000 rpm is the max. stay below 6k.

i dont do this all the time... i just completed 500 kms!..so as it was written in d manual that u can take your bike upto 7.5k rpm so i just wished check the top speed by shifting the gears at around 7k rpm!.. i always ride it around or below the 5k rpm mark but sometimes its difficult to control the adrenaline rush!

                    • MY bike's just completed second servicing when the ODO read 2300 Kms, Changed to Semi-synthetic Castrol Activ 4T,the engine is damn smooth now just like butter.
Just after the service, I had an accident while turning towards the left, the tyres didn't hold up. Anyways just a unlucky day, whats my point is?
Just now I tried leaving my hands from the handle bar just like as I use to do previously, now the bike is shifting towards the right. Previously it was Ok. Or is it just my psychology for having the accident (My bike was dragged some 10 mts with bike tilted towards the left... I hope u guys know what may be the problem, the handle bar look ok to me

Yup, it costs 1,12,350 on road here, no idea about MSP, but the general consensus is that its better to avoid Orion...

Semi synthetic is what you should use as of now.

Go for Petronas 4000 or Motul 5100

                          Both are good !!

                            • A funny incident happened on my way to office today. I was at a signal and suddenly there's a guy who comes up to me and asks,

                              >Anna, how much is this bike?
I was a lil surprised and told him im not selling it.

                              >He was like, ok.. but how much is it?
                              ok...I told 1.15L

                              >Sports bike?
Giggling inside my helmet, answered Yes

                              >Top speed and mileage?

the signal turned green in the mean time, i smiled at him and left.

                              • ^ happens quite a bit mate, its inevitably followed by "tyres should have been a little fatter"

Guys, a small query, if you remove the front number plate will the vibrations on the handle increase? I remember reading something to this effect, but may have been mistaken.

I want to get the number plate sticker on the visor, hence the query.

                                Cheers,

                                Shr.
