, how... how????
About the groin vibes, maybe a protector will help, I mean tank protector of-course...
...
Seriously, there should be some gap ( about an inch or two) between the rider and the tank, see any good book for riding positions...
Sorry, could'nt resist that...no offence meant
Cheers,
Shr.

and sorry for that..its 500km..

Something special for my baby
Its a UNI Dual Stage Pod Filter which my friend bought from USA
the filter will replace the hopless paper filter and will remain inside the close box till 1500 kms , then will mount it directly to ECU
Hope you guys like it

Faulty Radiator ??
Just received a call from the showroom (perfect riders) and they said that due to coolant leakage reported by many owners, Yamaha is replacing some part of the radiator assembly
Anybody else get a call like this??
Cheers,

Isnt the first service due at 1k Km's? Can someone confirm this to me? i would be reachin my 500Km's by tommorow, and need to plan accordinglyOriginally posted by dsids View Posthi guys...
i finished my 500k so got my first servicing done. As written in the manual i took my babe a bit higher..but whenever i cross the 5k rpm mark..i can feel slight vibrations in the handle n the tank...its kind of tikklish in the groin area if i get too close to the tank..

are the vibrations normal

i saw a R1-5 yesterday with a DAGREX exhaust..iv gone through Joel sirs posts and according to him that don't make much difference..but this guy was literally flying around...

...but if ur not looking at him...one could mistake it for an auto....

2 days back i got a call Yamaha's office at Delhi.
The call was just for details & verification.
The respected lady asked me about
do i read any bike magazines.
I said to her that i am also in forums......
After saying 'forum', i remembered many of you weren't happy / cribbing about the pathetic after sales service. ( even i have experienced).
i spoke to her regarding the service. She replied Are you not happy from Naman auto ( SVC) .
I said, its not about naman auto, its about each & every Yammi svc.
They don't have trained employees & are uneducated about almost everything.
She replied " I'll take your comments & pass it forward.
Though this call is i made is to inform about any future promotions we make"
the call ended........
i thought what promotions???
What about proper customer satisfaction.!!!

I have also got similar calls. The number is from Delhi NCR area, they have most probably outsourced the whole process to some BPO. The sad thing is that the person who is making the call has no clue about bikes or bikers. Hence such brainless responses.Originally posted by Amrit View Post

Just a thought for all you guys; How come we don't seem to have any ladies on this forum????Only a biker knows why a dog sticks his head out of a car window.

nopsi..its 500 Km....read the manual..it clearly states that you gotta have the 1st servicing after 500km in which the engine oil and air filter element get replaced after which 7500 rpm can be reached but don't over do it
.. next the 1k km service is done after which you can rock with your baby
