yes, that can be considered for sure..the Yamaha stuff cost 700Rs or so(not sure). Apart from the yamaha collection you can also look for cheaper options, since your only looking to protect the the tank only from scratches. But take a look at both the things before buyingOriginally posted by JitenMistry View Post

Last year, I bought the tires from MRF showroom here in Chennai. At that time, that was the only showroom which had R15 tire. Now it mite be a different story
..
Anyways the showroom name was something like MIS tyres. The number is 044-24995442.
All the best

in fact many have faced the same situation. even me
do one thing search as much as you can about r15
gather some information read threads, reviews and FAQ on r15
this will help you pass the time and by the time you bike will come
you will be having complete knowledge of your GIRLFRIEND(R15)

No problem, I will start reading this ownership thread from the beginning again. (will be my 3rd time)
I knew I was gonna get this bike when I started thinking about it months ago. Now its like 'so close, yet so far'. Thanks to xbhp for keeping my dream alive and teaching me to be patient.

This shows the "POPULARITY" of this bike and how much it is talked about!!
Infact this machine is one of the most popular topic on xBHP.
So keep reading this thread n the owners manual and u wont even need a mechanic to fix your minor problems!..

Shanz: The bike displayed in the Auto Expo 2008 was just the same way it is being sold now, albeit with all the accessories on it.
The only thing on that bike which was not introduced in the accessories was a tyre hugger.
I would like to know&see pics of how you retrofitted the FZ's tyre hugger onto your bike.
Does the bike not look funny with 2 tyre huggers? Wouldn't one have been enough?Quench my thirst with gasoline!

Hey, does anyone know which brake oil is used in the bike? Which brand and what price? Because I dont want to settle for anything different.
And if possible the price of the front steering ball racer (top one). You get the point?? :D

I had already addmitted the mistake in the previous post..Originally posted by Sarvajit View PostShanz: The bike displayed in the Auto Expo 2008 was just the same way it is being sold now, albeit with all the accessories on it.

i had seen the global auto meet on the Tv only,n mistaken the R125 in Red as the R15..
Again i had mentioned in the earlier post that the mod's would be on my behalf..once i get my bike and appropriate amount to buy the required items!Originally posted by Sarvajit View PostI would like to know&see pics of how you retrofitted the FZ's tyre hugger onto your bike..
The fitting does include welding work..
4 custome made screw leaflets[somwhat like we find on bajaj swingarms] would be fixed on the swingarm on each side..
Actually as u hav seen The fz-s type hugger cover the monoshock area..and is less insight whearas the bajaj hugger solely covers the rear tyre area lying sowhat below the tail light...Originally posted by Sarvajit View PostDoes the bike not look funny with 2 tyre huggers? So both the huggers will give a better look for me and will attract lesser eyes on the Puny rear!
