So are we having any CIRCUIT eqivalent to Moto GP standards???

I just talked bout the Initial Pickup [ Kitted R15 around 7.5sec for 0-100 whearas Ninja around 6.4sec for 0-100] and power delivery in every gear [Ninja having a bit longer gear ratios and more power in last 2 gears]...
Ninja definetly takes the lead in Top whack..
And minding that thrs a huge 100cc diffrence in both the bikes..plus ninja will be technically more advanced in some terms!
So am really satisfied with a Kitted 150cc mill performing this good though we have to pay a huge amount for that!!..
MotoGP Standard Race track for an R15 ? arn't you asking for too much. Its like you wanna run in a Marathon Race around the Freeways of Europe.
The circuits we have in India are made considering the products we have in the country. Obviously there is always a scope of improvement. but you dont make sky scrapers in villages right...? We start from a certain point and improve gradually...
I completely agree with your facts and figures. No doubt about that. But whatever is the reason, even with the whole kit the R15 does not come close to the 250Ninja. techinically speaking i think the techonology level will be same. What advanced features are you familiar with that we're not...?
Facts are facts - leave apart reasoning. Ninja 250 is faster at the moment. We still cant change that.

    • Hehe. Thanks guys.

Actually I do stoppies and stuff. Dunno how the level's dropped, but I can feel the lever is softer and is coming closer to the throttle grip. So thought might as well give it a bleeding/topup. My bike has done 9234kms so far. Will give it a complete and thorough service with a few parts replacement as well....

@Shanz- Even I'm looking for just the petal disc, master cylinder, adjustable lever and the steel braided hose, but I guess its available only as a kit (brake+sprockets) for 20K, which is too much.
      You get the point?? :D

No dude, inquired about the same stuff. its only available with the body kit, which includes the disc, the stainles steel hose, etc etc (other few 4-5 things) and the rear set foot pegs. for 20K - exclusive of taxes.

We dnt only need improvment we need some SERIOUS EFFORTS!!
Coz what we own are VILLAGES compared to foreign Circuits and Tracks..we had only started and thn we didnt moved even an inch..

                  Thats True!!
Its not at all close but can be competing at some minimal points!

Then one more FACT for you "APRILLIA RS125" clocks 175kmph!!
"125cc mil vs 250cc mill"..both producing mileage not above 25kmpl
                  U got the point??
Dsnt matters Whether aprillia or ninja..they had been already made and served in foreign countrys!
But R15 had been Invented for Indian conditions..we die saying "superbikes superbikes" but when the point comes to filling in the Juice we feel ourself dumb..
There we need the Bla Bla in our bike but we still need Mileage..
This the reason y we are having R15..a beautifully decent combi of mileage, top whack and mini superbike..

Thats all cool...I guess you and I are trying to say the same thing using different words because of which the misunderstanding took place.
I know about the RS125(is a 2-stroke). the one that goes 175kmph is the unrestricted model sold in italy only. rest of europe gets the one that does 150kmph.
and to take a 4 stroke 150cc - to 140kmph on a speed gun, is what we call engineering. So the Yamaha guys have done quite a lot. with industry in india they really cant use the same strategy they apply world wide. So thats just about it, I guess.
50K seems ok to you - No issues, cos its your personal prefference and I respect that. I wouldnt spend 50K for a 1lakh bike but of course if I had the R6...maybe before Posting here I would have installed a 50K performance kit already.

I think you have already got the cone set as well as rims checked.
                        How about the handlebar?
Also it would be helpful if you could provide info on your falls, damages etc.

                          I respect ur word dude..
                          The fact is..
51k is more than hell enuf [even for me too] for JUST A KIT..
Relaunching a bike in India and Inventing a bike for India are two totally diffrent Terms..
I just want to state that i am proud that Yamaha had made Something For India in true terms!

Iam sumtimes totally Irritated by Indian manufacturers like Hero Honda,Bajaj,Tvs etc..
Yam are launching Insane products,Kawasaki with Bajaj would be in the run too..
Whearas HeroHondas are busy stickring up the old tanks and installing electric start in their luna..[100cc are lunas for me]
Solo Bajaj are busy repainting their product and doing some hush and push in their engines!
Tvs are going gud way but its start for them..commuter styling and many fields of expected improvments..
I would rather buy a R6 after riding my baby for 3-4 yrs!!!

Mileage depends a lot on usage..that's what I know..
                              I'm getting around 45 recently..
Do you change gears continuously? I mean..people tend to get low mileage when they want to travel fast in a stop-go traffic situation..moving throttle fast and changing gears up and down continuously..
Also..if your average speed is too much, you'll get low mileage..
But anyway who cares about mileage on this machine..

*Try to stay on unvariable speed,

                                *Dnt strain the engine uselessly!

                                *Drive Slow..

                                *Stay in correct gears!

*This is R15 so treat it like R15 and not Apaches or Pulsars..

*Stay with stock tyres coz the Mods hamper the mileage badly

                                *Stick with one brand fuel!
