It's the rear break fluid level.Originally posted by testing2000 View PostHi,
in R15 - i knew, left side is where we fill up the coolant, there is one box at the right side, which we could see it at the gap near the deltabox frame.
what is that used for? i see that mine is at low level. please let me know.

Got my Red R15 today!
Hey All..
I finally got my Red R15 this evening!
Rode it for some 10 Kms (from the showroom to home), & boy oh boy, she rides like a dream..
Will take her around for a longer distance tomorrow!
I'm so proud to now officially be a part of this thread!

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

@TnT: Thanks bro!Originally posted by TnT View Postcongrats dude!!!!!!
plz post some pics...
Will upload some pics soon.
@All:I have a couple of queries. Can you guys please help me solve them:
1. I was going through the User Manual yesterday, & came across Ignition circuit Cut-off system on pages 3-10 & 3-11. I understood zilch of it! So, can you guys please explain what Ignition circuit Cut-off system exactly is (& what have they explain)?
2. Can I use the Engine Kill switch frequently (or is it only for emergencies) whenever I need to stop the engine (say, at signals of long duration or in trafiic jams)? Or is it comparatively advisable to use the keys to switch the ignition off in such situations?
@All: While taking delivery of my bike yesterday, the showroom owner told me that he got an email from Yamaha yesterday, about an event being organised on 31-May at Palace Grounds, Bangalore. He wasn't sure what the event will be about, but was thinking on lines of a temporary track being built for it(guessing must be for racing!)
He was trying to get me into participating, but then I told him I gotta complete run-in & he was like these events don't happen everyday! & I was like, isn't he supposed to ensure my bike runs fine!
Whew! Looks like he's more interested in the after sales service, now that he had made the sale..

Will just go through the link..
@All: I rode my R15 for 20 odd KMs today (in city trafiic)..
I find the gear pedal & the gear shift VERY HARD! Finding neutral is also quite a pain in the foot (more than the A*S)
. The gear shift is silk smooth when the ignition is off, but is is very hard with the engine running! No clue why!
Have you guys experienced this on your R15s? What can I do to solve it? The bike has done just 35 KMs as of now..Last edited by tibby; 05-16-2009, 03:51 PM.

Getting adjusted with Gear and Brake pedal will take time...its build like that. But you can adjust the Gear lever as per your comfortability...this will make easy for you to find nuetral.Originally posted by tibby View PostThanks guys!

Congrats on ur ride, tibby
IIRC the fuel injector self check runs only if the ignition is turned off and turned on again.Originally posted by tibby.
