  • I have one unopened bottle of Yamalube chain spray with me. I am not going to open it as I am selling off my bike anyways. If anyone is interested they can pick it up from me at Rs.1400, else I will return it to the showroom itself!

    • I am really Fu**ed by the local Yamaha showroom salesman today.
I went there as my friend is going to buy a R15 for himself after some days and those arse salesman treated us like dirt as they think themselves as the god of the world! I just want to complain to Yamaha India Pvt Ltd about this incident and I want some really strict actions taken by them!
Can anyone guide me how to lodge a Complain against the local dealer!

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

Every city has a main branch office. Try to visit them directly, though I am not sure if they'll entertain you directly. Otherwise someone from xBhp might be able to give you the e-mail id of some head person.

PS: Its a very common issue faced by many. Not just Yamaha, even other companies have such reports.

          • Today I went to the yamah showroom with one of my friend who will buy a R15 or P220 in june 1st week after his boards exams results and thus we went to dig up some info about these bikes
the bajaj showroom people were very help and we roamed around their basement dyno-room i mean literally everywhere and there was no one to said anything to as and they even offered us to do test drive P220 and P200 and also saw new P150 and P200 and was very happy woth their service but the yamaha guys were opposite .
there was no one as we entered the showroom and we were just asking the salesman to say something about the bike.AFAIK they dont know anything about the bike.
Even my N00b friend know more of that bike more than the salesman.
and when we asked for a test drive he said we wont offer any test drive ,I said we wont buy a bike of worth more than 100k and he said we wont give any test whatsoever and as we were angry we tried to switch on the bike which on the showroom and the salesman came and just took the keys and walked away which made me more angry and they were treating other customer older than us and offering them test drive...This is ridiculous!
I really wanna Fc** Up that salesman!

                • The D day came attended my friend wedding in hurry, return home packed everything and left home at 5.00 pm, filled up the tank and headed towards NH5. It took 30 min to reach the highway, now the clock started and the time to test myself and my beast. Now the time was 5.30 pm and 1689 km to go.
Day 1: My first target was to reach Nellore and then Vijayawada, before i make my night halt. The road from Chennai to Vijayawada is superb a paradise for the biker, i have done few small trip in my R15 but now the bike is to be tested in long and continues ride, initially the bike was little sluggish but after few km it became like a real beast, i was doing 110 – 120 kmph soon at 6.00pm i reach Tada the Andhra Pradesh boarder stop for a Tea brake and then again started in full speed, at 7.00.pm i reach Nellore made a few min halt to relax myself and the bike and took few snap.
Now Vijayawada was 274 km away, after relaxing in Nellore i started again the bike was performing good with no issue, as i cross Ongale and done 325 km i found the bike is nearing empty i could not believe it, filled up the tank and i got the mileage of 30.2 kmpl, and headed towards Vijayawada at around 10.30 pm i reached my first night halt. I could not found any hotel so spend my night in a petrol pump.
                  Day 1: 462.5 km done
                  Reached Vijayawada.

                  • Day2: Got up at 3.30 am early morning ,and found that my bike is down and the left side mirror is broken, disappointed a lot but today i have travel a lot and in heat too, now the real testing time for me and for R15, i made a quick plan of were to stop and halt, first target was to reach Rajamundary and then Vizak to have breakfast, Rajamundary was 185 km away, repacked everything and headed towards Rajamundary around 6.00 am reached Rajamundary and headed towards Vizak, Vizak was 195 km away, before Anakapali i filled up the tank and got the mileage of 43 kmpl, took few snap, the road between Rajamundary and Anakapali is superb i did my top speed of 139 kmph in that starch at the constant speed of 115 kmph.

At 3.30 pm i reached Bhubaneswar halted there and took few snap and headed towards Balasore the distance was 196 km but as soon as i cross Cuttack the road became worst again till Bahrampur after that the road was good, around 6.15 pm i reached Balasore, say the kilometre stone and it shows 245 km to Kolkata, ask the local weather the road was good or not they said few km the road is ok but once the NH5 get over and we join the NH60 the road is superb, so i decided to rod my bike to the max in NH60, at 6.30 pm i started and found that the road is superb, now i it was the time to rod my beast to the max around 7.45 pm i made myself to reach Kharagpur, now the last stretch was 115 km and the excitement of reaching Kolkata was high on me, called my friend and said i will be there in 1 hour need food and sleep badly so told them to arrange for it , filled my tank, sat on my beast and told her take me home as soon as possible and started to rod my beast i could not believe how quick she was responding and i reach Kolkata in 45 min that at 8.30 pm. The riding experience between Kharagpur and Kolkata was the best in my life.
Reached home had my Dinner cleaned my bike, spoke to one of my friend to accompany me, for my Patna ride he said ok and we planned it and went for sleep as i have only slept for few hour last night and need to go next morning.

                    Reached Kolkata.

                    • Day 3: Planned to get up at 5.00 am but due to the long ride of yesterday and the tiredness woke up at 8.00 am packed everything and had our breakfast and headed towards Patna, Patna was 588 km from Kolkata so we planned to reach before night as the situation in Bihar was not good due to the election, Again i have divided my trip in parts so it will be easy to cover, my first target was to reach Asansol through Bardaman and Durgapur on NH2. Asansol was 212 km from Kolkata.
For our luck most of the road which we have to cover was on NH2, At 8.30 am we reach the NH2 and sent our time, around 9.30 am we were crossing Bardaman and at 10.30 we were crossing Durgapur and reached Asansol at 11.30.am, we halted there and set our target to Dhanbad to have lunch there, the distance was around 59km. At 12.30 pm we reached Dhanbad.
After we finished lunch we headed towards Barhi from where we have to leave NH2 and head towards NH31 and to reach Bakhtirpur. Dhanbad to Barhi was 125 km and Barhi to Bakhtirpur was152 km. On way to Barhi we filled up the tank, at 2.30 we reached Barhi, the heat was too much for us to handle, we had a small halt in Barhi to cool our self as well as for the bike. As we enter NH31 the road became narrow but no traffic, we cross the Tiliya Ghats and the Koterma forest, the scenery was good so we stop and took few snap, and headed on our way as we cross Nawada i found that my radiator started leaking again so stop there and sealed the leakage with M-Seal and headed towards Bakhtirpur. At 5.00 pm we reached Bakhtirpur from here we have to leave NH31 and Join NH32 now Patna was 50 km way from us we had light food and headed towards Patna, around 6.30 we reached Patna fresh our self had dinner check my bike for the leakage and went to sleep.

                      Day 3: 588 km done
                      Reached Patna

The return from Patna was after 8 days, i took same route now the bike is in Kolkata as i will be going back on 23rd of this month, reached Chennai last evening and my wife came to know i travelled to Kolkata and Patna in Bike she was little bit angry but i manage to calm her by the promise that i will take her with me on 23rd.
This was my first long ride and was the most memorable in my live this ride has tested me and the R15, The bike was smooth all the way response was superb. After this ride I and my bike became closer and i know what her behaviour is and will be in near future. Hope you all will like my trip log will be waiting for your comments.

                          • hi everyone,
                            I had a problem with my R15.
Two months ago i left my bike home for 2 weeks as i went out of station. When i returned and took the bike 4 a ride, the both tyre pressures were too low. I refilled it at the pump. Then one week I didnt touched the bike later I noticed that the tyre pressures were again low. I again went and refilled air. I then went to the dealer and told about the problem. They said that the problem will be solved when the tyres are resetted. I said ok and told them to reset the tyres. After when got back my bike, i thought that the problem will be over. But when i took the bike on the very next day, the tyre pressures were low again approx. 7-8 psi low on front, 4-5 psi low on back. Again i went to the dealer, they then said that there is no air leak anywhere(they put the tyre completely in water). Then they said that it will be solved if tubes are put on those tyres. I then asked them to recheck the tyres and alloys. After one day in the service station they found the leak was between the tyre and alloy. But there is no way of stopping it. Atlast i decided to put tubes as i dont want to wear the tyres by running on low pressure for a few kms daily before getting to the nearest pump.

So i hope that i will get a clear way of solving this problem.
                            Thank You in Advance!
