IMHO, the stock bike looks much better than this.Originally posted by MAXI_009 View PostHi guyz i had a new mod done......just have a look...
carbon fibre free flow exhaust. Its not like the cheap aftermarket exhausts that are very lound and make a very iritating sound like phat...phat...phat... instead it is a good one that makes my bike roar like a superbike........also increasing my pikup a little bit...

Peace.

Oh! Now i get what you mean. You're talking about a situation where I take delivery of the bike before registration & stuff!Originally posted by vibhanshu View PostNo problem. Claim it = Do not accept the bike if its damaged in anyways. Do your checks before they start preparing the papers.
Actually, the showroom wala told me he will give delivery after registration!
Do I have the option of taking delivery before they start preparing the papers? Pls help, as I'm really confused.

Delivery after registration ? What crap! I got my bike the same day I payed them. I went to their warehouse where they had their stock. I took my time and selected my bike. Then they took 2 hrs for cleaning it and getting it ready. The bike came to showroom where I was waiting. I checked the bike and took the bike homeOriginally posted by tibby View PostOh! They gave a letter which was valid for 24 hrs stating the official papers are in process. Next evening I collected the papers. That too the registration was temp one (obviously).

Aah! In Bangalore, they deliver the vehicle only after registration! Registration takes just 1 day. Its like, if someone makes the payment today, they get the bike tomo evening. Will have to find out about the delivery before registration thing.Originally posted by vibhanshu View PostDelivery after registration ? What crap! I got my bike the same day I payed them. & the dealer is located 10 Km from my place. So would be a hassle going there several times (in case of delivery before registration, as I have office from 9-6 daily).
I chose this dealer because the other ones closer home don't have a proper warehouse (so their bikes have scratches!), & moreover they have R15s manufactured in 2008 & Jan 2009.
& the dealer I have zeroed in on has March 2009 ones.
Pls help!

@ MAXI: Dude, the exhaust may look good. But, the alloys & tyres don't!
Not counting performance, I'm only considering looks. Even then, those tyres & alloys seem too oversized & ancient shaped <Can't find proper words> ... They look too old.
Bro, just a suggestion, but please get back your stock tyres. If not, then at most make it 100 and 120 Sections...

here in andhra (hyd) we first get the temporary registration that is valid for 30 days...before completetion of those 30 days we need to get bike's permanent registration number. Any how. All this processs starts after the bike's chasis and engine number is noted down which is done only after you select the bike.Originally posted by tibby View PostAah! Though PDI is done, But its of no use usually. So do yourself all the checks.
1. Cracks (I found a cracked engine cowl after i took the bike to home. showroom fellow dint agree that it was broken already, those are cheats and idiots, forget their customers soon) Check for the cracks on the delicate joints and the parts which are prone to break. Like Side fairings, engine cowl, front cowl etc.
2. Damaged alloys. Get the bike on paddock stand and chk for free play of wheels and any bends etc etc. This is a rare case though.
3. Check the engine oil and coolant levels.
4. Check all the electricals.
5. Check for loose fittings of mirrors, saree gaurd, etc.
6. tires
and take a R15 owner with you who may still find out the differences
better get is removed before it damages the whole tires or rim. Try out at any good tyre shop. They usually have tubless kits.Originally posted by jadhav92 View PostGuyz...My tyre has a big nail stuck in it..Not sure what to do! Not sure if it has reached the inner part!
Btw: where can i get a Tubeless tyre puncture repair kit in chennai?2007 - Hero Honda CBZ Xtreme
2008 - Yamaha YZF R15
2009 - Hero Honda CBZ Xtreme
2013 - KTM 390 Duke
2017 - Yamaha FZ25

thanks riaz. I removed it myself with the help of a cutting plier. It had'nt reached the inner part, just the outer layer....so the air has'nt leaked out..Originally posted by riazmomin View Post

You may not notice air leak immediately as the air dont escape as quickly as in tyres with tubes. Look out of any dip in the pressure. Mark the place on the sidewall of the tyre. It'd be helpful to repair if there is a puncture. And, dont let the puncture-wala remove the tyre off the rim at any cost(in case, theres a puncture).Originally posted by jadhav92 View Postthanks riaz.
