    Touch-up paint

    Hi Guys!
    Came across this touch up spray paint ad in the newspaper long back..
    I just called the outlet in Bangalore, & they had the red shades for the FZ & R15 (I didn't ask for other colours, or other bikes). Its 100 bucks for a bottle. He told its some 130gms, though I'm not sure how much that is.
    & as you can see in the ad, they seem to have outlets in all big cities.

      @joel , was a changed plug oly. changed @ 8k kms.

      It fell on its tip while i was checking it.
      Too hot it was. , thus damaging.

          I will be completing 18k in a week or two and am yet to replace my air filter. Have of course been cleaning it after every 2.5-3k. If I am not mistaken, the manual recommends replacing the air-filter filament after 10k. Is is essential to do so?

            IIRC u had that IRIDIUM right?
            Even my plug was bad before I left it at Joel's. I have got a new replacement now....

                Replacing the air filter every 10k is very important, coz by then the paper would have got clogged enough. It'd be great if you can blow compressed air every 3k kms to relieve most of the dust, if not all.
                Keeping a clean air filter is the key for better mileage and performance.

                @Apar - Do u have the iridium now? I seriously havent checked

                    Thanks for your input. I have been cleaning the air filter using compressed air after every 3000kms all this while . I guess I'll go ahead and replace the filter as it is anyways priced at just 250rs.

                        Sounds like a plan. We could head to 6-lane and check. I might get the other R15 thats only if I can finish my stuff. Shall we have a comparo? LOL. I'll start say 100 mtrs behind you . I'll shov some new alkaline batteries in my new speedgun and bring it over. Macha, gimme that proto tacho atleast!

                          Iridium is lying at home. The exisitng plug is just OK. Its already started to chip. I bought it last week only!! Will get it when I come there and u know it will take a long time!!!!

                          P.S: Which is the 6-lane that u normally test?

                            Its the highway after nandi hills. There is no 6-lane there, but everybody calls it one. Same spot where I did the V-box test on my R15 and test my Drag Fiero.

                                @santoosh - Did u replace the clutch bushes as well? Spark plug has to be changed religiously by 10k kms.
