Ya man, u get injector sprays..thats what I'm talking about.
The manifold just needs a petrol wash.
Mine has clocked 12k kms and the injectors are still perfect.
You guys are messing with something that needs service only once in 20-25k kms. Even in cars, injector cleaning and de-carb is only done for over 25k kms. I dont need a de-carb, coz the head itself is removed periodically LOL

i was generally doing R&D man. no work.. I saw that the bolt on the injector was all rusted so i changed it with the allen key one. i hate bolts which rust man.

Guys don't go to open the injector and stuff . If you break it its going to cost a lot.

Breaks given to bike will not make any difference. Oil filter is not cleaned. Its straight away replaced: At first Service and then next replacement at 10000 Kms.

What problem are you exactly facing with the bike ? If it is vibration then there are some pics posted by digislayer at page 412, check those nuts/bolts and get it tightened. Visor will always vibrate (more or less).

              Please explain your query properly.
              Hey Vibhansu,

I have done 1500 KM with the synth. oil. And the SS guy says, it can go another 3k. So in total (1.5+3=4.5k). My Qs : Will it give quality output till so much distance. When with 1.5k only the response is nt so gud, I wonder whether it can be sustainable till so much time. I knw the visor issue. But I get tht sound above 7k.
The prob. is the engine sounds is going harsh...

Dont worry, I will not clutter this space. Will take it to PM's/SMS henceforth. that was just a post to call in people.

                      isn't that 0.10 MM & 0.20 MM? 10 MM = 1 CM

I took one to a dealer and he was looking at it like some magical device. Morons, they service R1s and MT01s and donno whats an FID.
Yes, it can help you change your own AFR when you fit an exhaust or modify the engine or add an air filter. You can increase the CO by almost 4.5%. Stock engines are at 3.5%, so you can make it as rich as 8% which is equivalent to jetting an engine rich by almost 3 times. The injector can also flow that much more.
You can also make the CO lean to as low as 0.25%.
Its an awesome tool. It can diagnose and also change the AFR.
                        Hi Joel,

                          • Puncture problem...

my rear tyre already has 5-6 punctures made...

I just got 2 punctures made last week and went out of town, started my bike after 4 days and the rear tyre was flat again...

took it to a local tyre shop.. we couldn't find any nail or similar material, although I could see 10-12 cuts, obviously small, from where air is passing out slowly.

the guy said he'll hav to remove the tyre and immerse in water to check the culprit cut.. and I dont want a local tyre waala doin this.

...im thinkin of visiting a proper tyre shop (MRF, CEAT types) for this check-up.

so what do u guys recommend?

                              • Hi friends! Need your help!

Hi friends. I need some suggestions on R15's suitability from your end.

I want to buy the R15 for myself, and have also taken a test ride of this amazing bike.. I simply loved the bike (& if looks could kill, after seeing the R15, I would be writing this post from heaven/hell ) & was very satisfied with its performance, except that the bike doesn't generate much power at lower revs.
My usage of the bike would typically be for commuting within Bangalore (home-office-home on weekdays & other places on weekends). I have never gone on long rides on bikes, and i'm not sure if i would in the future.
So, would you guys advise me to go for the bike, considering that chunk of my usage would be within Bangalore (& its horrifble traffic).. An ocassional long ride (outside city) might happen when I'm frustrated of riding the bike on roads (in traffic)..
BTW, I'm 5'7" tall, and quite liked the sitting/riding posture of the bike (front as well as pillion). It would obviously be too early to say if the posture would be comfortable for me in the lon run, as the test ride lasted only 5-10 mins. Though the duration of the test ride was small, I did make it a point to rip the bike to get a feel of the actual performance. And boy oh boy, she rocked when pushed to high revs! .

Please do reply & help me decide if the supercool R15 would suit my requirements above!
                                Thanks!

PS: Please excuse me for the long post. Tried, but couldn't make it any shorter.

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.
