Guys finally thought of opening the injector assembly for cleaning so opened up the bike over this weekend and was shocked to see the hose clamp assembly screws were all rusted couldn't open it at all.Most of the clams and screws were rusted bad and were not at all moving. so finally planned to get a new set of clamps and screws got to fix it up today.
Will post a few pics of the rusted screws later in the evening..

Finally got rid of the cat con and changed the afr the bike feels much better in the mid range and the bike revs more freely

Wonder how you get the afr changed so many times so easily! :P

And please try to include pictures of the injectors when you get it opened

There is a toy to change the AFR man

yeah will post pics of the injector and stuff in the eve.

here is the cat con. its 2 inches took 2 hours to remove it

then got it welded back.

Do u think it will not effect the engine performence henceforth, My mechanic also suggest me to do so in my RTR for better sound. Still in delema, what u say?

Where'd you get that toy from? Or how do you gain access to it if you don't own it?

I recently bought a red R15, very happy with it. but off late i get to hear a lot of news about a new R15 with much wider tyres (not from any strong source), can any one throw some light on it.

@ Mods - if this is not the right thread to post, please do the needful.

I have not heard anything of that sort. Yes, there are a lot of reports about the performance kit, including Yamaha showroom Managers, but they always talk about an ECU remap&exhaust only.

any idea of how much power boost it might add and of cost???

Yes, we have an FID now

So, I'm bugged of riding this moped called R15. Feels seriously slow and no punch although I have done my share of blue printing and improving efficiency. Yes its faster than a stock bike, but still.
I'm getting into some serious business of pimping the R15 now. It will look and sound stock, but not move like one

I'm just trying to slot some time for stripping the engine and doing the next set of some serious mods. Once done, I'll even post a dyno chart of a stock engine v/s mine.
Also will rework on a brand new cylinder head, and lot of other related works which will pump some serious power over the stock engine. A fully tuned freeflow exhaust will also become a part. And a lot more

NO concrete info, but the rumors say power will go upto 22bhp&kit will cost more than 20K.

sound from rear wheel

guys,
am getting a sound from my rear wheel whenever in motion.
sound is somthing same as the sound we used to hear when the mudguard of our cycle used to touch the wheel.
went to SC, he told the sound is from the chain, and did some lubrication.
sound went for somtime but now again started.
i feel somthing is toching bikes rear wheel.
pls help
