Even, i m a victim of wrist pain, and on shoulder and foresee a back pain too, not too far.
U suggested abt getting in balance with all 3 points.
                Can u suggest something?
Is there any way by which we can adjust the seating position or anything to improve the posture?

As mentioned earlier, do not lean on the handlebar clip-ons&try transferring your weight towards the rear portion of your body. Don't worry, you'll get used to it in a few days time!

                  • Hey Samarr,

Could you post the location of the shop where you bought the bike cover from ?

Its just 1-2 adjacent shop to MTR resturant. Mainly its a helmet shop.

Its from a helmet and accessory shop. Its a general sized one. Another I bought is used on a karizma. Its not specially for r15. I was also desperate to get a cover . So when it came just closer to my requirement I took it. Some days ago, one suggested here to go for bullet covers as it best. Suggested place is castrol bike zone. Well, I cld nt get much time to check. If u want , u can give a try.

Ride it for sometime. Ur body will adjust according to the bike. Of course the intial pain will help u in this direction . For wrist pain, I wld suggest to wear gloves, which has little thick foam mid of the hand and with wrist band. In Bangalore we get those cheap Rs 100 gloves. It helped me a lot. It absorves pressure when u apply brakes. Will put little efffect on wrist.
Anyway ths pains are temporary. I am regualar with gloves now. Yes, with the cheap Rs 100 wala gloves

                        • Hey guys,

Im 5'11 & the first day after I did around 20 kms in traffic my wrists were sore, forearms were hurting & my thighs were paining like hell. But all that was forgotten because of the bike, in the words of the Road Warriors - what a rush !

Now its been 10 days & nearly 400 kms of riding. On the first 2 days I thought the easiest position for me was to lean forward & put weight on my wrists. Since then I have moved to a slightly bent arms (cant bend it more) & curved back position. Still it puts pressure on my forearms & my half an hour commute (light traffic : Koramangala to EC) each way leaves the base of my palms red & slightly hurting. Also at each traffic signal I find that I have slid forward in the seat for some reason, have to keep moving myself back a half an inch at each traffic stop. Can someone give me pointers on what I need to do to correct my stance ?

P.S - I wear DSG gloves for all my rides (the discontinued ones which are thicker than their current moto-mesh ones but not gauntlet sized)

You can't help it. It happens with me too everytime I stop at a signal. Hopefully you will get used to that too!

I think its all about how you place your feet on the foot pegs. I am 6' myself. 2 inches on the front or back can make difference. Now I bought converse shoes as it does not slip and I can place my feet properly and I would know that it wont slip.

                              • Hey guys.. m experiencing some not so serious but weird experiences with the electricals of my R15 since past 2-3 days..

Everything was fine till I went to Vashi last saturday for getting my visor coated in black. While I was returning from Vashi, I realized one of the pilot lamps wasn't working. I thought either the bulb was blown away or there's some lose connection.

I couldn't do anything on Sat as I reached home very late. Sunday all the shops including Yam Service center were closed. So had to wait till monday.

On monday I was half way through to the service center and just by curiosity turned on the pilot and to surprise it had started working. I pulled over and tried on/off on/off twice or thrice just to make sure if it's truly rectified or not. It was fine and was working properly. So I took a U turn n returned home.

Next day the same thing happened. It wasn't working. Now I've decided to show it to the service center no matter what happens.

Just a few minutes ago I was washing my bike and it again was working.. I mean what the hell is this..

I am sure there must be a lose a connection.

I talked to a fellow xbhpian from Mumbai regarding this and he said another fella was experiencing the same problem with his main display. Everytime he thought of taking the bike to SS, it used to start working. Finally after 2-3 repeatitions the problem was rectified on it's own and is fine till now. Gosh... what's this all about..

Anyways.. I m going to the SS this evening. Let's what was the real problem...
