It was on the NH4 highway right after the Khambatki tunnel on my way back to Pune from Mahabaleshwar. The bike felt rock solid, almost in its zone you know..something that I admire most about the R15-its handling and stability.

These are chassis dynamo test results comparing a Vitz 1300 using Iridium Power plugs and another which uses regular plugs are shown below.
With the normal plugs, the output is 98.2PS, while torque is 14.8 kgf; when this was changed to the Iridium Power plugs, the output was 99.3PS, while torque was 15.2 kgf. (This is approximately a 1.5% improvement in output.)

That small change is hardly noticeable while riding.

I have seen those gloves in Yamaha Showroom long time back. Quality and comfort wise they are good. About safety it does not have anything other than Knuckle protector.

I would suggest you to get a DSG Glove instead.

That claim is true, i have read about the same elsewhere too.
But 1.5% is very small difference, not even percievable
          17PS x 101.5% = 17.255PS
Thats why is see people saying no performace improvement, but slight improvement in FE and better throttle response and longer spark plug life.

Do you remember the cost, looked good to me , need them only for occasional highway commutes that will arise only once in a month or two, thats why am looking for a cheaper option. By the way any idea how much the dsg one's cost. Also they are the best i can i get in Lucknow.

            • ^^AFAIK: The yam gloves are available for somewhere around 11-1200 rs, the basic DSG motomesh gloves cost only 850 rs and these are available in number of colors too.

So how do you rate them. Also the 15% discount is provided by yamaha to r15 owners or is it dealership related.
