    Initially after visiting Venkatesha for my first service, I decided to go to Pearl Yamaha for coming services. Pearl Yamaha is not very much different from Venkatesha. Hope at least you get the best out of 'em. After sales service is pathetic in Hyderabad and I pray to God to let Yami guys know about this.

    For God's sake pl. don't ask the SC guy @ Pearl Yamaha to clean the chain and spray it. I had to visit the SC again to fix the problems after they did the worst out of their job. How come people work without minimum common sense .. I'm loosing my words now...

      I'm havin wonderful time owning my new Red R-15. Waited and got the best. Revved to 6K on the first day not able to contain my excitement, but since then I'm handlin the cheetah softly, atleast till the next 900Kms. The engine is too good, pick up is amazing if you change gears in correct rev(everybody knows that) and I feel so powerful able to overtake anything I want to. More than the speed and pickup, the best thing this bike gave me was handling and cornoring to be exact. I am not the greatest of bikers, and havin not driven one for 4 years made me scared of taking this cheetah in busy Chennai roads, but I was very happy I am getting the best out of the machine. Best of it are the head turnings from almost all classes of people, jealous bikers of the same segment to be exact . Even the first day I took it from the dealer, some 40 school children waved a loud good by seeing my ride and gear, felt freakin happy. Guess I made the right decision even though I had initially thought twice because of the price.

        Congrats on getting R15 first 1k kms is sort of honey moon period enjoy then be ready to face the post service problems luckily bike dont have many problems

            Do not call it a body kit, it sounds as if you're about to get a split seat. I do not think it would be possible as it will be a huge mod. There had been a lot of discussions about the mod/accessories for R15 (leaving apart the cosmetics presently available) and nothing is seen till now. I think we will have to wait till Yamaha really comes out with some aftermarket stuffs. Till that time its all rumors.

            ps: spares are not properly available till now and we are expecting mods... pssssss!!!

              Vixion mod, can they be fitted to R15 ?

              On a side note. I remember someone telling me that there are no mods available for Vixion. But I do see some. As Vixion and R15 are very compatible to each other. I wonder if something is possible.

              Take a look at this, and go through the community. These are just few among what is there.

                        a r15 has a stock fitments of a h4 holder .. unlike sbks ..
                        one can use a single beam hid bulb with h 4 socket ... bi xenon would be a surely a miss guidance

                          No Dude, Bixenon are also H4 type. I can be used in R15. But the absence of projectors affects the spread of the light.

                            On after-sales service in the domestic front, Tsuji said: "We are talking to the vendors for providing spare parts even for our older bikes, like RX 100 and RD 350, to win back the confidence of our customers."

                            Yamaha plans to make India export hub; to increase dealership- Two-wheelers-Auto-News By Industry-News-The Economic Times

                            Hats off to Yamaha, I am sure the RD fans must be flying now.
