Congratulations for the machine booked! Subjectively, I too love Red on the R15, but you can always change fairing colors later on, as someone did earlier.Originally posted by sveetvenom View PostHay guys,...I finally booked the r15,..iv booked a red color presently at the"Bangalore Wheels" ..I am still undecided whether to go in for blue or the red...red struck me like hell,..but my girl wants me to go for Blue,...so lets see who wins...also did any of u guys get any freebies while making the purchase?
I asked my Yamaha Dealer, and he said that apart from regulars like Manual, etc., a Yamaha "Twin Forks Logo" key-chain is all we get. Even the Paddock Stand is separate.---

Lucky that you are getting so much. I did not get anything (of course I got the manual), not even a key ring. Felt like they are doing me a favor by giving me the bike!!
Anyhow, Congrats!
ps: I got a red one. But I would say go for Blue as its the Yamaha Blue and has some extra graphics. See for yourself.Last edited by vibhanshu; 02-05-2009, 01:05 AM.Fear is the Trigger!

Custom high power horn will kill the battery. As per HID or custom lights, refer to previous posts. There are a lot of information regarding it.Originally posted by sveetvenom View Postseen em both,..red struck me more than blue,..im more of the red guy,..i had a maroon enticer,.also,I am gonna fit my Bosch double bass dual horn on the R15,..will it kill da battery ?... of course i d not honk like a maniac...dat brings me to da point,..hows da battery ?,..can it stand some minor mods ,..like halogens and da horn,..nothing much,.

looks good. Doesn't void warranty.
have to get a cover. too lazy to wash the bike. very boring bike if not touring. The RX is so much better in the city.

On after-sales service in the domestic front, Tsuji said: "We are talking to the vendors for providing spare parts even for our older bikes, like RX 100 and RD 350, to win back the confidence of our customers."

Hats off to Yamaha, I am sure the RD fans must be flying now.
