    • Looks like your swingarm is alright .. the sub frame appears to be bent (judging by the imapct on the silencer connector which is welded to the subframe). Get that fixed.

Obviously after seeing it in person I may change my opinion but thats what the pics prove. The best way to check this is to see if there are any uneven joints on the rear plastic body. If there are none .. remove the swingarm and inspect it.

Archi, any idea on what the approximate cost would be to get this fixed.

        • Yesterday parked my bike infront of my friends place(which is close to my house, a bit dumb thing because i didn't park it inside) got a call after 3 hours asking me in which hospital i was(he thought i had a crash), while i was happily shopping, when i asked what happened my friend said the ride side panel of my bike was broken . Some a$$ hole had tried to sit on the bike and had dropped it i think..

So if any one has there right side panels to be still changed to the mesh one let me know, we can exchange my broken one with the good one, so you can any way u can get a new one..

          • Got my fourth free service done yesterday. The bike has done a lowly 6K kms against the stipulated 9K. No other option, the days are over. Loss of roadtrips and a 13km home-office-home roundtrip is taking its toll!!!

Anyways, this time I wanted to check out a new SC just a km from my place named BIKERZ YAMAHA at Nanaganallur. The mechs there are old guys and when I was there, they were working on a RX135 and an RD-350 LT. They were all experienced in YAMAHA bikes for a long time. The response and service was much better than AMBAL. They did not want me to stand next to my bike as it may be disturbing to the mech. but the customer lounge was like in probiking, so why am I complaining!!

            So, following are tasks completed:

            1. The fork was a bit loose, tightened it.
            2. Opened up the fairings and the radiator was a bit loose so tightened that.
            3. Removed the tank and checked the fuel lines and pump, no problems.
            4. Checked the air filter and cleaned it.
            5. Opened up both the discs and cleaned the pads. Both brakes have enough pads left in them.
            6. Checked both the rims for any mis-alignment or bends or cracks.
            7. Removed the chain, cleaned the sprockets. Fixed the chain back and sprayed MOTUL lube over it.
            8. The radiator had 150 ml less of coolant. Topped it.
            9. The brake fluid level was less in both brakes. Topped it as well. The guys used MOTUL DOT 4 fluid
            10. Since the headlights were HID they did not check the lights or circuits for that. Other than they visually inspected other wirings.
            11. There was no tappet noise, so never checked it.
            12. Opened the clutch and it was fine. Lubed and tightened the cable.
            13. Tightened the fairing bolts.
            14. I checked online and found that the Yamaha recommends W40 or W50 oil for the V-Ixion(YamahaT135.COM - Yamaha Vixion Product Guide Jupiter MX Yamaha Sniper Exciter Crypton X LC4V Spark 135 motorcycle owners...). So I filled up a litre of MOTUL 300V oil. Wanna see how it feels. Anyways the guys there were using ELF MOTO4GOLD and not YAMALUBE.
            15. Did not bother to check the CO level and stuff

Now the bike is back to stock form. No vibes, very smooth and am overall happy. Lets see how the oil works out in the longer run. Overall am happy with this SC than that stupid AMBAL.

              • Yeah, true. I know the place and had seen it. Its a small SC only but the mechs are good to talk to. Lets see how it works out in the longer run!

Not much man .. you will have to pay the charges for assembly/disassembly them back plus some minor charges for bend removal. Should not be more than 1K. But if it is the swingarm alone then I am not sure. If the swingarm is in a bad shape you may need to replace it. I suggest you go to a few showrooms around the city and get quotations for the same. Also first ensure (on your own) that it is the swingarm and not the subframe. (just run your hand over the subframe and see if you find any oddities/ same for the swing arm)

It comes with time man .. it has to do with the vibration of the small plastic divider between the speedo console and the windscreen. To test this out just hold that divider whenever the fairing vibrates. you need to replace the cushioning between the divider and the windscreen as it tends to harden or peel off. Try to improvise by putting your own cushioning. I need to do the same.

                        • Finished my first service and the bike has opened up much. The power delivery is much linear and no sudden jerks as well. Took it to one of our favourite roads here in bangy. touched an indicated 135..but needs to verify it with a speed gun. I have heard they have a variation of about 8-9 km/hr less than what is shown in the speedo..and yeah i am also having vibrations from the front fairing, but like u guys said, there is not much u can do , better get used to it..

FYI we have put up our voice in spreadsheet, called officials, barked at them, shown proof to them, shouted at them, sipped coffee with them, drafted mail to all Yamaha HO and AO offices listened to their craps etc. etc. but the bottom line still remains unchanged for many of us. Crap service, crap showrooms, non availability of parts, etc etc.

                              Dont take it other ways
