AS far as i my experience goes..yamaha SS people are pretty anal about service timelines..i missed my first service deadline by 10 days and they counted it as a second service..but doesnt matter much becoz the service cost is a 150 rs without oil..so the Kms done are more importantOriginally posted by Lancer View Postpeople i am out of station,i was supposed to get my bikes first service on 7 feb,but have not been able to do so.....i hope it does not become void after sometime?Could someonefrom banglore tell me which is the best SS and how to get there.(i think it was perfect riders or somethin)Why is the man who invests all your money, called a broker?

Picked some Riding Gear.
Folks,
I got my riging gear from USA (my friend got it for me) 3 months of waiting has finally come to an END
.
The following are the one's
Nasty Leather Jacket (From SPIDI)

KBC HERO Helmet

Alpinestart Alloy Gloves

Shift Shift Racing Enforcer Knee/Shin Guards

Got all these stuff ordered from
Motorcycle Superstore - Motorcycle Accessories and Motorcycle Gear
Got a good deal on all the products
Though the purchase has left a deep hole (close 20 grands).
However I think nothing can match SAFETY.
Started using them since yesterday for my daily commute on my 7 month old R15!

My experience with Sri motors, Chennai
just been to the Sri motors for Chain lubing, coolant refilll and to the left RVM....
First they made me wait for 15mins, then he asked a mechanic to take my bike, lube the chain, refill coolant.
he took the bike inside, cleaned the chain with a white cloth then sprayed the chain and said thats it done!

is that all guyz?
then he said that the coolant is almost full, i asked him to wear glasses first, it was a little less than low man damn. then he noticed it refilled it with some coolant that he bought in a big 1l bottle, it was green in color!
i never knew it, thought it was its blue!

Then i asked him for the left RVM, he said Rs260, i asked him whether its for a pair, he says RS260 for one! is that right?
i said a no and came back home!
Here comes the
part of this visit to SRI motors,
the mechanic was asked to take me and bill for the lubing and coolant,
the mechanic did'nt take me there.....on the way he asked me give him 100 bucks and leave, i said it'll cost me only 100 bucks for billing why should i pay you, then he came down Rs 80
,paid him n left!

The chain is cleaned using two things: one is a cleaner and the other is the lube. I use Motul. The proper way is to spray the inside of the chain (part that touches the sprocket) with the cleaner. Leave this on for five-ten minutes and then use a brush to clean off other larger stuff stuck on the chain. Lube the chain in the same way you applied the cleaner. And then go ride.Originally posted by jadhav92 View Postjust been to the Sri motors for Chain lubing, coolant refilll and to the left RVM....

Ok, first problem on my bike. After the service I brimmed the tank. I felt the handling a little different but never noticed it and I though it should be due to the tankful of Petrol. Today though I noticed that the handling is different. When I take a turn to the left, the bike feels very eager to turn as if its turning a lot more by itself. On the other hand turning to the right feels like the bike is opposing it. Riding at high speeds and leaving the hand and thre is no problem at all. Flicking is also no issue, but take it to lower speeds say 30 - 35 and leave the handlebar and the bike slightly(very slightly) tilts to the right and then to the left and starts drifting slowly to the left. Braking at these speeds also slides the bike towards the left. Tried panic braking at high speeds and the bike feels planted.
Hope I have put it in the right words here. Can u guys decipher the issue and give me some help?Democracy is when 2 wolves and a sheep meet to decide who is for dinner. Liberty is when the sheep has a gun.

Looks like something wrong with thefront forks, do you find any oil leaks in the front forks?Originally posted by Aparajith View PostOk, first problem on my bike.
