^^Nope. The mech removed the rear wheel completely, cleaned and greased the main stay or axle bolt or whatever u call it and adjusted the chain. He never even touched the front wheels except working on the disc brake.Democracy is when 2 wolves and a sheep meet to decide who is for dinner. Liberty is when the sheep has a gun.

thanx buddy.....Originally posted by archibaby View PostIt comes with time man .. it has to do with the vibration of the small plastic divider between the speedo console and the windscreen. To test this out just hold that divider whenever the fairing vibrates. you need to replace the cushioning between the divider and the windscreen as it tends to harden or peel off. Try to improvise by putting your own cushioning. I need to do the same.

R15 - heating problem
Hi guys,
my bike is 25 days old, whenever i took my bike for about 10 to 15km with the average speed of 60kmph, the side engine parts ( both sides ) gets hot, i could not touch my hands on both side of parts ( where Gear & Break located ). So i took it to SC, and gave it for first service with in 600km. they checked the coolant and oil all are normal level and finished with the first service.
I feel now the heating is reduced a bit, but not bearable.
need your expert help. i am kind of worried.
Note: No engine overheat signal.
please help.
thanks.

Means, its a new engine. The heat will reduce as the engine runs - in and sooner or later u will get used to it too!!!Originally posted by testing2000 View Postmeans, it is normal, or i need to live with it. my worry is while other people
are looong touring, mine is hot with in 12 to 15kms.
@Santa: Any solution to my problem Sir??!!Democracy is when 2 wolves and a sheep meet to decide who is for dinner. Liberty is when the sheep has a gun.

Been getting my R15 to office since the last few days. I've changed my opinion-its not bad even in heavy traffic! Surprisingly, it pulls from around 35-40 in 6th gear with ease. Riding position is a bit cumbersome initially, but when you get used to it, it is as easy to 'cut' around as any other bike in traffic. Going to get a safe parking in office soon, so that my baby is scratchless.
Congested parking lots are the only things that bother me.
Yamaha was right-it is built for heavy traffic, as well as open highways. I'm more in love with my R15 now.
P.S.&O.T.: Now that my R15 has become my daily bike, I am considering buying the Ninja exclusively for weekend rides!
