Going to get a safe parking in office soon, so that my baby is scratchless. Congested parking lots are the only things that bother me.
Yamaha was right-it is built for heavy traffic, as well as open highways. I'm more in love with my R15 now.
P.S.&O.T.: Now that my R15 has become my daily bike, I am considering buying the Ninja exclusively for weekend rides!
I would stick to my opinion for you the 2nd time too: Sell off your R15, Drop the idea of Ninja, Save some more money and Buy R1
ps: At least you can arrange the down payment.

        Hahahaha!
@Kriss&Vibhanshu: Sensibly speaking, if I earned 5 times the salary I'm earning now, I would have bought an R1. 2 lakh is the max I can afford for a 'sport' bike as of 6 months from now.

Dont worry about fuel consumption too much..changing the gear from 5th to 6th at 60kmph or 70 or 80kmph wont make much of a difference.
Regarding your query 5th gear- 60kmph -no hassels..just keep on enjoying the ride
The way I ride it..changing gears near 9k Rpm-i still manage to get around 40kmpl. but If thats less for you.. you better think of other options
Just because you haven't seen it doesnt mean its impossible...expect the unexpected.

Today though I noticed that the handling is different. When I take a turn to the left, the bike feels very eager to turn as if its turning a lot more by itself. On the other hand turning to the right feels like the bike is opposing it. Riding at high speeds and leaving the hand and thre is no problem at all. Flicking is also no issue, but take it to lower speeds say 30 - 35 and leave the handlebar and the bike slightly(very slightly) tilts to the right and then to the left and starts drifting slowly to the left. Braking at these speeds also slides the bike towards the left. Tried panic braking at high speeds and the bike feels planted.

Hope I have put it in the right words here. Can u guys decipher the issue and give me some help?
            BUMP!!!!! Some help guys ???!!!!

Ask some one else to ride the bike once and test it. May be its just your feeling.. hard to tell what as gone wrong as you said the front portion was not touched by the mech's

Could also be due to the mis-alignment of rear wheel right?

It could be, what you said breaking in high speed is good and you were very happy with the service this time right.. If you think its problem with rear tyre just get it refitted once will not take you more than 15 mins

                    • Does anyone in here know what to do if we loose insurance papers? :|

Me and my bike fell off day before yesterday and I sprained my wrist. Bike suffered a lot of cosmetic damage at the left side, and the fork is bent too says the mechanic. Even the headlamp needs to be replaces, so thought I'll go for insurance, but discovered that I lost my insurance papers. I have the policy number but don't know how to proceed. So, is there anything I can do? or should I go for the "bill by cash" way??

Note: My bike's insured by Bajaj Allianz.

@Apar, I'd first check the rear wheel alignment.

@ souvik: the headlight stay(aka front stay) seems to have given way. Looks like the side fairing is holding the entire thing together. Get that replaced. A easy thing is to disassemble the front fairing and check. It's quite easy to do that.
