Did you order that from Yamaha?Originally posted by jd666 View Postnope no two horns.
BTW a small update from my side. Just received a 300mm petal type front disc that i had ordered for the R15. Looks beautiful in Silver. Pics tomorrow after installation. Comes with an extension plate that increases the distance of the caliper from the disc to accomodate the bigger disc.
Next up, steel braided hose, and a racing master cylinder.
Are the discs available without the other combinatorial parts of the racing package??My thoughts...

awesome man pics plz ...
is it the same which has some relationship with DAYTONA kit by yamaha or its some aftermarket from other source. more details plz....@all: I'am not sure if everyone here is aware about this thing. Last week when i took my bike for 6th servicing at around 13900 km on ODO. The YAMAHA SVC guys changed my radiator unit completely and they undersigned a doc where in it was mentioned that i have been satisfactorily been installed with a completely NEW RADIATOR unit with no problems and no extra cost.Well then the obvious question to the chief engg over there who is indeed a nice and wise man, was WHY? why has the old radiator have been changed?@harshit.d: yeah sure i'll try filling at other station, If i notice any diff will PM, thanx bro.
He simply said that Yamaha have had received various complaints about the radiator leaking however I have happen to the lucky one not to face the same. When I asked further whether or not i should go for it since M more than happy with my stock R!5 quality and built which is now 1.9 yrs i guess (hope i calculated correctly
)
His ans was that bro just imagine how much fuss the Yamaha ppl create about its warranty , by that why would YAMAHA replace a old part with a new unit (here radiator) which he said costs INR 7K
if it would have not been more than good or best...
This chapter of changing Radiator was followed with other R15 owners as well which are more than 6 months old , I guess the new one comes equipped with the new unit already.
The only visual difference as far as i could notice that the inlet cap for filling the coolant in now at the opposite side as compared to the earlier one...
Is this just here or is this the same situation Nation wide plz confirm

Here is a bad dark pic of the disc. but it looks great.
No, this is not from the yamaha kit, but from a company which makes after market parts for the Malaysian/indonesian version of the R15. Racing boy. Good quality and a reputed brand.

I doubt the Petrol Matters. I mean, Its better to use Speed, Power, Xtra Premium. Atleast psychologically you are happier. Shell is definitely a better grade of petrol. Super Shell to be precise! Expensive by Rs 11 than normal Petrol but I have always used it on touring and I get a 50+ kmpl. Haven't tried the Normal petrol so cant comment whether the FE I am getting is because of Shell or not. Keep her away from the Redline and below 7k RPM, she will fetch you a good FEOriginally posted by PRATIK322 View PostThanx mate that's such a help, I'll try to keep her between 4-5K. BTW i'am using power petrol should i try something diff just in case i wounder.
, but thats a little hard sometimes!

Not yet. The ninja need atleast a budget of 1L to do anything worthwhile with it. The brakes are good enough. Im thinking of ordering a bodykit and painting it some pearlscent color or something, saving the original bodykit in the process.Originally posted by sheelpriye View Post****
you are making me jealous.
^anything super planned for 250R?
It should be able to handle it, since this disc is designed specifically for the R15/Vixion etc.Originally posted by Puneet1 View Postwow , the disk looks cool Jd but can the r15's skinny front handle such a big disk upfront ? wont the tyre's lock up . even the r15 racing kit disk is 290 mm iirc ,this is 300
.
Other than this, on order are front fork stabilizers, so that should help with improving the front stability better. ( its a metal like clamp which holds both the forks at the point where the inner tube meets the outer. )
Yup, exactly. The bigger disc does increase the rotational mass ( hampering the turn in capabilities of the bike ), But since i generally use the front brake for 70-90% of my braking, i think this is a worthy investment.Originally posted by surbhit View Post^^ Daytona kit disk is 296mm...
In fact, im hoping for an improvement in braking further after using a steel braid hose, and racing master cylinder.
