Even if your battery dies, nothing to worry. Sit on the bike, find a slight incline, put in 2nd gear, push the bike a bit and release the clutch - the R15 comes to life. Ride it for at least 5 KMs then.
Thank a lot, i was worried about it. well yes will cover my machine properly and will do the same as you said if the battery is drained.

The only solution to this would be to change your habit and hence apply both the front and rear brakes simulataneously to bring the bike to a halt. The brake should be applied in the manner 70% front and 30% rear. Try this if this helps
hey yea thanks even my friends suggested me the same thing...ill try using the front as well....

but still is karizma R is comparable with r15 as it also has 17 horses and 18.50 nm torque[while r15 has only 15 nm torque].

kindly shed some light of this and pls be unbiased.
To be honest without fuelling any brandwar, there is something in zmr that lacks in R15 and that may make all the difference inspite of difference in the power and torque and that is 39kg!
The extra wt of zmr outshines its torque and power capabilities when compared with R15.

              • Some pics from the installation process. sadly dint take one of the disc on the bike with the caliper extension. Ill do that tomorrow and upload for sure.

the braking feel and feedback is awesome, one finger control, and progressive throughout the brake lever movement.

I was riding thru the rain at about 85-90kmph testing the disc, the tyre did give up at some point under hard braking, but the front remained as grabby and tight as when dry.

A worthy investment i must say, but it will eat thru disc pads quite fast due to the petals cutting against the pads.

                  The disc is lookin smashing.

But if you got extentions with you for the calipers how the disc is rubbing the pads cuz the petal will act as a grinder to the pads.

                  • ^^ because the caliper is not designed for a petal type disc to allow the disc to pass thru freely ( the section where the petals are ), So it grabs it at the edge as usual, causing the petals to go thru the pads. Which increases friction and braking efficiency.
