I have absolutely no clue what you meant by this, but in case you were being sarcastic, motorcycle frames are meant to withstand the flexes that come about during riding. Not the ones from crashes. This is true for everything from a CD100 to the RC212V.Originally posted by pranay View PostDelta Box frame not so Delta now, eh?

From the crash u mentioned I seriously doubt that a chassis can bend!!! Do u feel anything weird while taking high-speed corners or riding fast etc. ?Originally posted by sajiv View PostFirst, I want to make sure that there is Chassis bend. Any way I can figure that out?
To determine the truth, I think u will have to strip the bike off all the fairing, engine et al and see. But better still, since ur at Bangy I wud suggest u meet up guys like Mithun, Navnish, Santa, Joel etc, ask them to try ur bike and u try their's to evaluate if there is any difference between them.Democracy is when 2 wolves and a sheep meet to decide who is for dinner. Liberty is when the sheep has a gun.

Wreck the bike!!! that would be my last option.Originally posted by Aparajith View PostChassis bend is impossible for minor crashes. Even am not sure of the SC's claim. If they want to change try out the option of insurance. If not possible, just wreck the bike further deliberately and claim insurance. I see no other option."Never make the mistake of thinking someone is holding you up;that's racing, and you're holding yourself up." - Keith

I rode all the way from Chennai to Bangalore after the crash man.. Did 130+ without any issue.Originally posted by Aparajith View PostFrom the crash u mentioned I seriously doubt that a chassis can bend!!! Do u feel anything weird while taking high-speed corners or riding fast etc. ?

I dont see any issues with cornering also. But I dont think I ll be able to figure out minor issues."Never make the mistake of thinking someone is holding you up;that's racing, and you're holding yourself up." - Keith

can you go to pacer and ask them for a explanation may be take a pic if the bend / break is visible ... that would make more sense ..Originally posted by sajiv View PostI rode all the way from Chennai to Bangalore after the crash man.. Did 130+ without any issue.

I have no reason to throw any form of sarcasm towards the DB frame. I am pretty certain, as most members here are saying, taking into account what Sajiv said about his fall, that there shouldn't be anything wrong with his R15 frame.Last edited by pranay; 02-12-2009, 05:44 PM.DoN\'t LivE tO DiE, dIe tO LiVe

Get it checked in other service center once and don't mention anything about the chassis bend, just ask them to try to your bike..Originally posted by sajiv View PostThe bike always felt planted under braking.

Called up pacer motors again. Asked him not to do anything and just change engine-oil. According to him everything is computerised and would fix the issues in no time. Now he is asking me to atleast check the swingarm(as my silencer is banged up). Without the chassis rectification, it would take Rs 3000 it seems.
Need to check with another service center (probably perfect-riders)."Never make the mistake of thinking someone is holding you up;that's racing, and you're holding yourself up." - Keith
