It is good but in dense city traffic you will struggle due to lack of torque at lower revs.Originally posted by sveetvenom View Post1.How does the R15 fare in normal city riding ?
It is very good for touring. I am 6 feet tall and have not had any problem with riding position on long rides...Originally posted by sveetvenom View Post2.how does it fare in extended highway riding,..and is it very strenous on the back, wrists?
rusting in some parts, chain requires lubing (every 500-700kms), the main problem is poor after sales service provided by Yamaha dealers...Originally posted by sveetvenom View Post3.what are the common flaw/probs wid da bike?

Ah I am glad that I am a laggard in booking the R15, I get access to so many first hand experts
So what do you suggests is the best setup for lamps... and would that mean any change in battery n all?Super CommuTOURer - Talk less, Ride more

@Satyen: Using 2 55/60 would burn ur reflectors. Best combo would be a HID on one side and a 55/60 on the other. Saves u from the cops and gives brilliant lighting too.Democracy is when 2 wolves and a sheep meet to decide who is for dinner. Liberty is when the sheep has a gun.

Change your low beam to 60/55 w like philips vision plus(Rs.250) or night breaker(Rs.700) that should do for youOriginally posted by satyenpoojary View PostEdit: Oh I dont tour much, but then I commute too much

I am a bit slow when it comes to the 'tech' part of the bulbsOriginally posted by Aparajith View Post@Satyen: Using 2 55/60 would burn ur reflectors. Best combo would be a HID on one side and a 55/60 on the other. Saves u from the cops and gives brilliant lighting too.
So can you suggest model names that I can throw to the hardware guy
Wouldnt the HID need some work as well?
Edit: Thanks Mithun, any reason on why so much price difference!Super CommuTOURer - Talk less, Ride more

I use a bi-xenon. Its just plug and play. And the nightbreaker is also plug and play. Ask for a 4300K - 6000K bi-xenon HID. Anything more than that and its a waste!Democracy is when 2 wolves and a sheep meet to decide who is for dinner. Liberty is when the sheep has a gun.

No problemmo! Actually Pearl is the most recommended place in Hyderabad, that is what I have been told by members here. Bad that you had a hard time with them. Goodluck!Originally posted by Priyatam View PostLast two weekends I wasted my time at Pearl Yamaha
