thanks for the tips dude...but thankfully nothing happened...checked the air pressure. not much of a change....

The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

                          • Finally crossed the magic 1500 km mark and started exploring the engine's performance limits bit by bit. It really is opening up nicely & is quite a hoot in highway traffic on the way to office. My old Pulsar used to max out at 108kmph. Now Im setting new personal land speed records every day & bettering it the next (only by a couple of kmph more each day). My record is close to 120 now. Once I reach top whack, I think I will go back & start again from 108 & each day increase it by 2 - 3 kms more. Even I dont know what kicks I get out of it.

Just remembered that when I gave my bike for servicing to Orion, they were telling everyone that the billing software is down & that they would prepare the bill in a few days & mail it to customers. Not having faith in them I said Ill come & collect it myself. When I called them a few days later they said that the billing system wasnt fixed & that it would take a couple of days more. Will collect it from them tomm. Even more importantly they havent given me the RC yet. Its 2 months now. When I took the bike from Orion they said within a month the insurance & RC would be ready. They gave me some temp documents which I need to verify tomorrow. A month after delivery I collected my insurance & at that time they said it will take another month to get it. Will go & see what they say.

I chose this dealer because the other ones closer home don't have a proper warehouse (so their bikes have scratches!), & moreover they have R15s manufactured in 2008 & Jan 2009. & the dealer I have zeroed in on has March 2009 ones.
                            Pls help!

                            Guys from Bangalore: SOS..!!
Youre right about the 1 day delay. Happened to me as well. Everything was handed over on a Saturday & I could get the bike only on Monday evening. Which showroom are you talking about man ? How do you know which bike is made in which month ? What colour may I ask ? Welcome to the club !

I'm all for the Red one dude!
The newer ones are available at Perfect Riders (Lalbagh Road). They now have the April manufactured ones, they say (after I clearly asked them which month models they have, & that I don't want older ones).
You never know which lot the bike is from, until you see it in the RC book (because generally, no one asks for month & year of manufacture when booking a bike). At Bangalore Wheels (Rajajinagar), they say they've got 2008 manufactured ones! & I'm sure I didn't want that!
& actually I'm trying to sell my Discover bike, which is when I realised that the month (& year) of manufacture has more relevance than that of the registration! So thought, if I'm shelling out so much money, why take an older one!
                              What say?
& I again spoke to Perfect riders yesterday. they say they can give me delivery immediately!
Actually, I can choose the bike I want from their warehouse. But after that, if I take my bike from them the next day (after registration), they might screw it up (scratches & stuff) a little. So asked them if I could take immediate delivery, & they agreed (Reg will be done by them by next day!).
It will take a max of 2 hrs they said, for cleaning the bike & other stuff.
So I will take that option.. Why give them a chance to screw my happiness!

                              • Crash Guard!

How many of you are looking forward to a crash guard to save your legs as well as your bikes fairing?

I am looking for one. I had a very minor accident recently and don't even have a Scratch on my body(thanks to my gloves & helmet), but my bike's headlight cowl, right Upper part of the fairing, Headlight stay, and the indicator is broken but still working.

All i need to know is there a way we can fix a Crashguard on the place where the Indicator pops up.We could just find an alternative place for the indicator! Its really hurting to see my babe in a bad condition

btw: the front part hits the handle when i turn it left and does'nt turn the whole radius, If i lift the headlight part a bit, it turns fully. Does that mean the headlight stay is broken or there's something else wrong?
