Please go through the last 10-15 pages and u will well aware of the pros & cons for the fatter tyre in R15.Originally posted by Lancer View PostHi guys...been busy lately...the other day i tool my bike for servicing.Babys done 3500 kms now.....runs like a dream....the sales guy there...was telling me that for 3K, he can put the Fz's rear tyre on my bike.God i m tempted...its my wet dream come true....can anyone tell me how much does the Fz tyre cost?Has anyone done this kindda thing before?? One guy from Delhi got that done... Please check a few pages back. I think he posted that here 2-3 weeks ago.Originally posted by lokey View Posti want to kno if we can fit projector lights for the bike ???????????
So something is identified... pls try overinflating your tyres to like 45 PSi and use for two days... this is to force the tyre walls to lock in properly into the alloy. That'd have got disturbed when the tyres lost pressure or when they re-layed the tyre. If there is no puncture on the tyre and the alloy is not bent, Yamaha is definitely answerable to this.Originally posted by midhun_swift View PostAgain i went to the dealer, they then said that there is no air leak anywhere(they put the tyre completely in water). Then they said that it will be solved if tubes are put on those tyres. I then asked them to recheck the tyres and alloys. After one day in the service station they found the leak was between the tyre and alloy. But there is no way of stopping it. Atlast i decided to put tubes as i dont want to wear the tyres by running on low pressure for a few kms daily before getting to the nearest pump.
So i hope that i will get a clear way of solving this problem.
Thank You in Advance!
FZ's rear tyre doesn't cost that much. Pls check again what he is charging 3K for. One of our members got the same thing done.. please check a few pages back.Originally posted by Lancer View Postwas telling me that for 3K, he can put the Fz's rear tyre on my bike.

You're surely in love with this bike..
My views on the YZF-R15 V2.0: http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/news/198...tml#post699240
The pleasure is when your rear wheel slides, and you bring it back; and when the front wheel lifts, you take your time bringing it back.

Hello,
I own YZF R15 since 15 days or more.
The Air Pressure in both tyres reduces after week or more.. Last time I filled 28ps in front and 32ps in rear tyre.. Checked it after 10 days.. it was like 22 in front and 25 in rear.. No chances of Puncture, no nails found anywhere..
What can be the reason?? Summer heat effect??
Please help guys

Some guidance needed, guys! I am a novice when it comes to electicals.Originally posted by Srijan View PostThe pass switch aint working. What possibly would have gone wrong? It was working before. How do I fix it? I dont want to take her to SS as they may screw the case.

@ Srijan- take it to the SVC if you cant fix it, and just be around when the mech checks the thing. Moat probably there is some loose connection in the left switch housing. It can be removed (there should be 1 or 2 screws on the underside), so if you can, check it yourself......
OT: Hey, Jawed bhai, you in Kolkata? Where?? And for how long will you be here? Any chance of meeting up?Last edited by svjhonda; 05-12-2009, 09:59 PM.You get the point?? :D
