Dude , if your talking about the 2008 Expo held in delhi - then apart from smal accesories there was nothing extra or better that the R15 displayed at the Yamaha stand had. Same front fairing, same Tailight as current stock, No split seat but yes the rear seat cowl was there(as accessory), same foot pegs, no wider tyres, it was the same 80/90 front and 100/90 rear. the exhaust was exactly the same apart from that small attachment at the end that Yamaha still provides as an accessory. Either it was a different Expo you and I are talking about or you have not noticed the R15 carefully.
Just because you haven't seen it doesnt mean its impossible...expect the unexpected.

Also i would like to add that whatever shown in the Auto expo is what we have on roads, except there was a mud protector which is not present till date. IT was similar to what R125 has

                          • R15 Accessories Query

                            Guys,

My new R15 will come around 3rd Sep 2009. I want to know what necessary accessories of R15 I have to purchase?

Since Yamaha offer many R15 accessories but I would like to know which one is most useful for a long run?

There is nothing "necessary" about the accessory range that Yamaha provides. These are all add ons, nothing essential. If your talking about useful then you can considering buying the Paddock stand for self servicing the ride or just to ensure its upright position. Or the seat cowl which looks cool but just seems to costly to me
Apart from that if you looking for the new colors all of them come with rim strips which you would have to purchase seperately if your buy the any of the older models.

                                Ok,
What about the Tank Pad? Well I am much worried about scratch/unknown damage of R15 bike. Apart from Yamaha Accessory, should I look beyond for that.
