Checked out this place this weekend. No stock with them too! It seems its out-of-stock for the past 1.5 - 2 months. They are asking me to contact Yamaha SC and only they can arrange directly from Yam. Will have to check!

Its upto you how you drive!
If ur more into wheelies,stoppies,burnouts etc then the soft rubber compound wont last for long!
Else 30-40k kms isnt any deal if u drive like any "Uncleji"..

hey guys........got the pricing of the new kits...here they are:
the muffler kit cost = Rs.16000 + tax
the Performance kit cost = Rs.36000 + tax

source : leaflets given to me from the Yamaha Factory Shop Kolkata

I got an SMS from 'TM YAMAHA' today, saying congrats for choosing R15 blah blah racing instinct blah blah Joy something, and finally some B.number.. does this give an indication of how much closer i am to getting delivery of my bike.. ? Someone plz tell me something..

Showroom guys not answering the phone.

Had a bad time in the SC Orion,today. I am looking for a bazooka to bring that place down. The so called 'service manager' is an acclaimed joker, even a local 'giddu' will give him a run for his job. A blind guy leading other blind guys..

Even I got this SMS when I bought the bike. The Unique number is something like your customer ID, and the B Number, I dont know..! But only when your documents get submitted and processed, they send you the SMS. Are you buying on Finance? If yes, then your documents have been processed, just a few more days!

No, I am not going to take the bike on finance. Thought I'd do so initially but my lucky stars came into position at the right moment..

(read: interest free loan from an awesome species called parents) So full payment only.. I've booked the bike almost a week back. So I'm assuming that you got the bike a few days after you got this msg.. !

btw OT, are u Rob on the orkut R15 community?

Missed Service...

Guys..I missed my bikes 2nd service, and its now around 2 weeks late...what will I do now..Can I get my bike serviced by paying the service charge..If so how much will it come upto?? And what all need to be done during the 2nd service?

Dont worry man!! Well if you've missed the 2nd free service, you can still get it done but you'll have to pay Rs. 150 as service charge. This is what I was told during my first service when I enquired regarding the same.
I didn't get your second question..What all need to be done?
