SG grade oil (old can is still avbl at the SS ) . I use that oly . u can check it out at the SS.
Those guys ll give u the 220 rs oil oly saying we are getting oly this SL grade.

Tell them u have an ALBA 106 and want it.(180 rs oil)

I believe the additives do clean the fuel injectors at least. On the R15 I don't find noticeable difference in the engine running with anything added or not.

I use iftex for my car and I find a clear difference when I use iftex. But on the R15 I just don't.

The news is that the Engines are now made in India. Couldn't get clarity on
whether they are just assembled in India or that some of the parts are already being made in India. But Yamaha does have plans to source some parts in India for worldwide supply. All the 3 new colours have new engines (nothing changed but they are not built up in Indonesia unlike the initial lots). Only the Blue bikes are not produces in the past few months and they belong to the old lots with made in Indonesia engine.

If that means something to you, pickup the blue one before the stocks run out. Once that stock is over they'll produce the blue ones too in India.

Having said that, I am not too sure what difference it would make between Made in Indonesia and Made/assembled in India engines.

That SG grade oil is different. They have changed the can, print, oil colour (old one was in gold colour and thicker. new one is red colour), JASO Certification number, product code... almost everything.

Thing is, the new can is 100% ditto Motul can. It is their standard design internationally. The old oil was made by Exxon Mobil and as far as I can remember the can design was a bit different. I wanted to confirm this one for myself. On the new one they don't mention manufacturer's name but just list Yamaha Motors India itself.
