Yes exactly R15 is a high revving machine, one has to rev high in order to feel the punch in it, its low end is abit sluggish.

its amazing on the track... and for highway cruising... but not for traffic conditions... i was just responding to that particular claim... no doubt about the quality of the bike though...

the warranty does get void with HID.. from a guy who is already using 2 HIDs on his R15 said that if RPM is kept mostly above 5 then there is no problem.. if its less.. the battery gets drained in lesser time compared to the stock lights...

me too trying to find a solution for it, trying for the best possible option... just want to blow these lights on the freaking 4 wheelers during night ride on highways.. esp. for these freakin ppl dont even care to use their dipper...

one more thing...is there any option to lift the rear portion of the bike????i mean adjust the rear suspension???

The bike is sluggish at lower speeds... that is in comparison to how it sprints at higher RPM's. It is not so slow that it struggles. I always keep up with other 150's & ZMA's when starting from signals... I cross them n a jiffy. And I am not a high revver.

More than the slow/speed, it is a pain to drive in traffic because of the riding posture... you cannot keep that posture with stop & go traffic.

@souvikb83
The R15's suspension has a lot of travel and it is linked type monocross... you cannot lift it further but I'm curious to know why you asked this... pls explain...

R15's lighting is pretty decent and don't expect to get much more lighting from a bike. Also, when u come across such vehicles that have 6-10 headlights or those blinding white lights, even if you have similar lighting u cannot see much.... only way to drive is to slow down the the moment u spot such lighting.

Abt ur clitch cable... it is not something that fails so easily... they last and last and hence the dealership wouldn't have got the stock... one of the reasons why u have a problem could be rats!!!
