RTR FI is slower to the R15 in outright top-speed by a bit.

- The R15 is the most stable through cross winds.

- You dont need to bother with the FI. It does not need any maintenance. I've not touched it.

- My bike is 2 months old now. I have clocked 5200kms. put it already through as much hell and fire as possible. Dirt and muck is not the word. A clean wash and chain lubrication is all that u need.
Although my tank is showing signs of rust since over a month althought it was not exposed to water earlier.

@Apar - This is due since a very long time. I have an RTR FI and RTR ready, just need one P200 and P180 for the test. Lets see maybe this weekend. Thing is I hardly have any pals with pulsars
Seems like you select your friends carefully! Nice habit! Keep it up!

Servicing the FI? Well, I suggest you to visit.. say a maruti service center (they had the MPFI cars for the longest duration in India...pls ignore others that don't sell anymore) and check with the ppl there about MPFI unit servicing. You'll get a good idea about the whole thing and would be happier that you did the check.

About the cleaning part, there are two ways... one - don't think of it... just leave it like that. two - do a not mal water wash at home or pressure water servicing near to ur place... then get th ebike on to the road and catch the dirt again... now u know that the first option was better!!!

LOL, Aryan. BTW, I call the P200 a Pee200. For the first time I am revealing how I came up with that name... Now when we dragged the P200 with RTR's it was losing most of the times. It was as if the bike got frightened midway and went for a Pee break... hence the name Pee 200. Well, this is on the lighter side though!

If yes, which one clocked the fastest timings. Cause I personally believe what sets the R15 apart from all other Indian bikes is its super nimble handling and its closest competitor in this department again is the RTR FI. Now if the Bike India results are anything to go by, then the R15 is the by far the fastest track tool of the Indian biking scene.
The R15 will outhandle any other indian bike on the track. However the RTR is very very close to the R15. It looses out by a margin and that margin is the ease of flicking through corners. Courtesy the R15's 17" rear wheel and better tyres.
The RTR FI can actually match the lap times of the R15 in the hands of the right rider. Top speeds down at the chennai straights are same on the RTR FI and R15. Acceleration from standstill feels better on the RTR FI as the clutch is the most positive among indian bikes.
In out right top speeds, say in a 1km straight...the R15 will have a slight edge coz of its more focussed aerodynamics.
The R15 is a ready to race bike and a perfect track tool. RTR will need better tyres first to push it around its limits on the track.
