Default Suggestion please

Hi,
I had gone to Orion service center in Bang for changing the set of locks and getting a security system. They promised to give the bike by evening. But when i went to get the bike, they say that they dont have the lock set with them and it would take another week to get the stock. Adding to that , they fixed a security system that was defective( There is no sound ). I was kind of in a hurry to get back home and hence i paid the bill in advance. I dint know that Yamaha doesn't recommend use of security system and battery warrenty will be voided if I use it. When I checked the vehicle I found that the security system was defective and I asked them to pay the money back. They were refusing to pay me back. And then there were heated arguments and finally they agreed to pay back money excluding vat and labour charge. Then I had complained to Yamaha head office and they got back to me promising that I ll get my money back. Now the service centre guy was trying to convince me that VAT tax cannot be given back. Now, please suggest if I should call up the head office again and push it or should i just settle with the current situation(considering that I ll need to go and see their face again).

YES YAMAHA!!!!! Happy ridin!!!!!
using HID will cause battery prob but it can be solve by replacing stock battery with 5amp battery even i have changed mine and using HID with projector but dont get any problem yet

My friend had recently bought an R15 & got his first service done a few days back. The first service costed him Rs.1200.Coolant top up Rs.60,Oil filter Rs.516,Engine oil Rs.498 & chain lubing Rs.120.
Are the above mentioned prices appropriate??Do the oil filter cost Rs.516???
Guys need some input here!!!!

Sorry to say but your friend has been taken for a ride here. The oil filter the old imported one would cost 430 Rs. and the new one is 167 Rs. And afaik there would be no need to top the coolant during the first interval. I havent done it till 3rd service. The coolant remained at its level for me.

And here down south - chain cleaning and lubing would cost 100 bucks.

I am going to take my baby R1 for the first service tomorrow.
I am going to ask SVC guys for Engine Oil Change, Oil filter Change and Chain Lube. Is there anything else i need to take care of?
BTW which engine oil should i use mineral oil or semi-synthetic?
Can any one tell what should be the cost for the first service? (in case they try to cheat me )
